I used to work at a studio that made Those mobile videos. I can tell you they do work, we saw the numbers. I can tell you the turn around time is about 5-7 days per video (A designer or animator who made a simple "story" that got passed to artists, who had about 3-4 days to do all the visual set ups) We're sometimes barely even given the game assets to make the ads, 99$ of our assets are free from turbo squid or the unreal store whatever is cheap. (As for the farts and stuff, most of that is never planned and added by editors) I'll definitely say you guys put in more effort than we do.

It's not AI, it's advertising boards. Likely, it's the same few companies being hired by 8,000 tiny mobile games and running the same advertising campaign for each one nearly identically. They just take a look at what works right now and recreate that, regardless of the product being advertised. So basically exactly what AI would do, but done by idiots in suits.
I feel like that about most tiktoks and UA-cam shorts, you know the kind, those that are just a clip of either a movie, a series episode, or a UA-cam video, and not even the most interesting part of it, and with music blasting on the background that doesn't even connect emotionally to what's happening, and also big subtitles in the middle emphasizing with a different color the least important part of a sentence
I'm so disgusted by those fake ads, I had no idea "rage bait" was an actual tactic. It mostly just baits me into spending 15 seconds reporting their dumbass offensive ads. Good job pointing out this insane tactic.

The thing I wasn't actually prepared for, was the quality level of the Fart Birth ad when it was done. The animation was so smooth and polished and I just don't know how to handle that. I feel like it added to the horror in surprising ways.

As someone who is a game dev and also plays a lot of mobile games, this is so relatable. This was super entertaining to watch and the parody was so well done and spot on.
