I just thought of a book nook I’d love to see! I haven’t seen anyone create Newt Scamanders suitcase. Specifically the scene with all the creatures in their habitats, I think that would make an incredible book nook. I don’t have the skill but I thought I’d share the idea with someone who does! 😊
Your rendition of the dragon fire is my favorite touch to this and rightly so! This is so impressive and I am still amazed at how detailed you can paint, especially on the 3D mini people. So glad you shared the process and I look forward to seeing more! :D
This turned out great. Your processes are fun to watch too. Have you ever considered expanding spray foam for fire blast? You can apply it around the LEDs and pick it to shape/add more when it dries...no hairy fiber look either.
Holy moly, you deserve so many more views and subscribers than this!! Halfway through the video I looked up and expected to see a million, 2 million, and you've only got 8k?! The insane attention to detail and expert craftsmanship is so professional and a true rare talent. I hope the rest of UA-cam catches up and realizes what a gem you have here, this was really amazing to watch! Well done! 👏
I came to your channel in hopes of seeing lots more videos of yours after watching the beautiful Harry Potter book nook you made! This one is super cool too but I'm saddened that you don't have as many videos! I know you'd probably earn a bazillion more subscribers with your talent. I hope you'll consider making more videos!
I’m so jealous of your 3D printer! Nice model. Could you please make a little video about the interesting cutting thing you have with your hot wire cutter? To make the circles? That’s something I’d love to make!
Absolute top notch work my man! A cross section of the Hogwarts great hall with the kitchens below would be insane or anything like a Hogwarts tower too. Love it!
excellent design, beautifully executed! The fact that the whole scene looks like it is lit from the dragons fire sells it so well - excellent work and great video and editing - Thanks very inspiring work!
Daniel Hill I thought about doing that but it’s going to take me a while and I’m a novice. But maybe! Reddit has a couple cool communities too if you’re on there
These are amazing! The materials were really helpful, can you do a game of thrones one? There are so many beautiful scenes in that entire show that would be perfect for something like this.
Love your work so much! This turned out so cool and it was really great to see the materials that you were using. I don't know if you're only doing book nooks right now, but I would love to see some other kinds of props/miniatures in the future too! Either way, I'll look forward to whatever project you take on next~
I’ve had this in my recommendations for about a week but I just now have gotten around to watching it. This looks absolutely amazing! I started on mine not too long ago, it is themed after the mirror of Galadriel. I haven’t had a whole lot of time to work on it, with chores and school starting, but I’d say it’s coming along nicely! I bought the wrong kind of foam, which is very coarse and crumbly, so if you’d please it would be very helpful if you had a video guide for making one of these. I see so many comments on here saying that they don’t have the skill to make something like this, but I think if there was a video to break things down it will help encourage even more people to at least try it out. Maybe it could mention what all to look for when buying supplies and tips on how to make it look nice and tidy. This is just a suggestion and you don’t have to do anything like it if it’s not your style of video, I just think it would be really useful.
Do the great hall at Christmas time. Or, do the slytherin common rooms (I've always thought the fan art of the slytherin common rooms were so awesome). Or Dumbledore's office. There's so many opportunities to make more beautiful book nooks out of the Harry Potter world.
Gorgeous. But dang, wish I lived at your place so I could use your 3-D printer. :) I have ideas of my own that I need to make manifest. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us.
Totally blown away. The book nook is stunning and I enjoyed the edit too - especially the jump cuts with the music as you were painting the characters. That LED cotton ball is the best still-life rendition of a fireball I’ve ever seen. If I could nitpick one thing, I’d love to see better shots of your finished product - smoother pans/zoom, better lighting, and a longer opportunity to admire it! Checkout Nerdforge, they do their finished shots exceptionally well. But overall really, really well done!
Holy cow, this is fantastic! I agree with one of your other followers, it would be awesome if you came up with a Newt Scamander's suitcase booknook. =)
So amazing!! Could you give us some tips on how to do these without all the fancy tools?? I’d like to create a Halloween themed Diagon Alley one but I don’t have/can’t afford some of the awesome tools you use (3D printer and such). Again, brilliant work as always 👌🏼🤩
I love this so much!! You have an amazing talent! I just have a few questions and maybe you could put them in the description of your future videos, what equipment are you using? The foam cutter, the 3D printer, and the software for designing stuff? If it’s a trade secret I understand though. I’m just very interested.
Thanks! No secret at all! The foam cutter is a Hercules hot wire cutter, the sla printer is an Anycubic Photon, the fdm printer (for the stencils) is an Ender 3 Pro, the software shown is Chitubox which is a slicer for 3d printing.
@@TheProppingBlock Is there a difference between a resin printer and a non-resin one? I guess I need to go look at more videos, huh? I wanna be you when I grow up! I'm trying to make a Diagon Alley book nook, but my stupid Cameo won't cut thin chipboard! Guess, I need more money, huh?
@@kimnobles7687 Yeah resin printers can print smaller items in much higher detail than FDM (PLA, etc) can. Downside is the resin is pretty toxic that's why it needs to be cured after printing. Better equipment does help, but isn't really necessary to start making most things. I barely had any of the things I have now when I made the Hogsmeade book nook!
This is someone who has all the time in the world. It would cost me three times as much to do. Why? I'd have to 'screw up' twice before I get it right. Oh, and I don't have access to a $600 3D printer...
excuse me sir but you are incredible! what kind of work do you do in your normal life if i may ask? sorry im new here... ive always wanted to become a prop maker and learn all the ways and different uses of material but never know where to begin. if this is just a hobby to you then hats off god damn you're talented.
Well thank you! Before the pandemic I was a chef, but my workplace has been closed for the past six months so I've just been making this stuff in the meantime!
@The Propping Block Awesome work, i love it !! Did you modeled the small figures and accesoiries u printed with the resin printer by yourself, or where u get them ?

Nothing less than extraordinary! The only thing that matches the quality of your GRINGOTTS model is your detailed and precise video editing. Wow!
This is amazing. The only thing i dislike is that Ill never be able to make it myself xD
Am gonna make diagonally myself with my ideas am making the whole thing in a bit larger sizee

OKAY! YOU WIN! This is by far, the best 'Book Nook' I have ever seen. Unbelievable detail. Well done you!
You've inspired me. I want to make a book nook for in between every book, I've started planning!
Your book nooks are amazing and high quality. I love them.
WOW! The use of cotton for fire was just brilliant!
This turned out great. Your processes are fun to watch too.
Have you ever considered expanding spray foam for fire blast? You can apply it around the LEDs and pick it to shape/add more when it dries...no hairy fiber look either.
Just CAN'T stop watching your unbelievable burst of creativity. Such an "illegal" level of paying attention to details:)
Amazing job! I am so happy I have found out your channel.
Would love to see a shire book nook! (LOTR)
Three stages of watching your book nook videos: :
1. I will definitly do it.
2. wow, that's a lot of work,
3. theres no way I will ever do this.

I Can't Wait to see a diagon alley or something like That, truly mindblowing. The only thing sad About this vídeo is that I wont be able to do it
I love your book nooks so much! You have a lot of talent :) I think it would be cool to see an enchanted forest or "ruins" type book nook

Crazye bro u making straight fire!!!

Not sure how many hours exactly but it took a couple weeks to make, lots of waiting around for things to dry!

Love It, looks like real fire.🔥
Beautiful work.
Fabulous.
Wow! 😲 Great work! 👏 Yes, a 3D printer is a very nice toy. 🤤
Brilliant! My only lament is that it goes by too fast for my slow eyes to appreciate all the details.
God damn!
This is outstanding!
What an amazing work! I am flashed of the perfectness. Thanks a lot for sharing with us!
Amazing and super cool!
Niiiiiiiiice work

Espectacular!!!
Could you do Diagon Alley next? Please!

This is so amazing! Do you sell these?
Very interested with what you would do for a Narnia book nook, or Hunger Games
Oh my goodness, this is spectacular! You've got a new subscriber :)
Hi, great book nook! What was the wood you used to cover the outside?
Those are basswood sheets!
The level of detail! Amazing!
love it
Just WOW! Love this!
You are amazingggggggg
Didn’t understand much about the purpose of the mirror, is it for light reflection purposes? Your work is just AH-MAZING!!!

please do a knockturn alley for Halloween?
Perhaps!
