Sorry. I wasn't able to get on for a couple days. Did you figure it out?
There's a USB receiver in the mouse. Stick it into your computer and it should work.

@@allaboutskincare02 hmmm... if the mouse works, the keyboard should work, too. Did you put a battery in the keyboard?

Is the keyboard and mouse connectable to ipad or laptop?

Yes. I have it connected to my laptop. It's wireless with a USB receiver. So, if your iPad has a USB port, it should connect.
