This property & garden are beyond stunning. This bloke has to be the most perfect example of when having money & taste come together. The garden is so quirky & lush and the attention to detail in both the house & garden is staggering. The house is just so bunged of “stuff” which you can tell all means something to its owner. He has literally created paradise!

Astounding space! Far from most people with unlimoted budgets manage to create beauty even close to this home and landscape. Most who attempt it don't have this persons (or couples) vision, taste and interest in nature, local artisans craft, and sculpture they clearly have. It's over the top luxurious of course but not gaudy, kitch, or too artficially arranged anywhere, just magical! One thing though: If you don't want to literally kill thousands of flying birds you do NOT decorate with mirrors with no grid or lattice structure in front of it. The owner likely has people picking up birds with broken necks every single day, 100%. This goes also for modern or MCM buildings with huge glass panes in woodland, the windows outside reflect the suroundings and therefore birds fly at high speed straight into them. I've lived like that for a while and it was really tragic the amount of daily deaths, it broke my heart. Perhaps the two opposing mirrors with not so much space between isn't as bad if they arent double sided, idk... It's just an aspect seldom ever mentioned in architecture but a reality one should know about and safeguard against. Thanks for a terrific tour! I cant imagine a more luxurious way to have a relaxing vacation!

@min 18:33 The tree and the cotton-like fluff obtained from its seed pods are commonly known in English as kapok, a Malay-derived name which originally applied to Bombax ceiba, a native of tropical Asia. In Spanish-speaking countries the tree is commonly known as "ceiba" and in French-speaking countries as fromager. The tree is cultivated for its cottonlike seed fibre, particularly in south-east Asia, and is also known as the Java cotton, Java kapok, silk-cotton or samauma.

This is my first time to your channel and i must first say that i find you absolutely stunningly beautiful and your voice is so soothing and feminine, which for me made the video of this incredible, peaceful resort so much more enjoyable and actually quite inspirational to be honest. I found it extremely informative and educational and i love all of the unique and rather odd features showcased in this place. I love how they were able to resemble that of a rainforest in a backyard and how well everything seems to be thriving there. I am someone who struggles with abstract thoughts and creative processes, but watching this video actually made it more palatable for me to understand and gave me the opportunity to see such abstract areas broken down into smaller ones that are so much easier for my brain to process and understand and i am so grateful and appreciative of you sharing this with me because for so long I’ve been trying to find a way to learn how to be more abstract and creative and this was exactly what I’ve been searching for! Thank you so much for this highly enjoyable video that was filled with so much valuable entertainment!
What a lovely word of appreciation... thank you so much my dear.🥰🥰🥰 and am so happy this little channel found you at last! The tree with thorny trunk at 18:32 is Pink Floss-Silk tree (Ceiba speciosa)....during blooming season it gives lush lovely pink flowers. Lines of Ceiba trees can also be seen along the roads somewhere in Southern California with full of pink blooms during summer.
The thorny trunked tree at 18:51 is a Silk Floss. I had 2 of them at my former residence. Twice a year for a few months it would bloom into an amazing full canopy of pink flowers. I just discovered this amazing channel today. Amazing videos!!! 🙏🏼❤️

The tree and the cotton-like fluff obtained from its seed pods are commonly known in English as kapok, a Malay-derived name which originally applied to Bombax ceiba, a native of tropical Asia.
Silk cotton tree or Kapok Tree

greetings of peace from Indonesia
This video is v memorable for me because after filming this one, we filmed the "erotic garden" find it in my channel here...and in the evening I collapsed and ended up in a hospital!

This whole tour was magical❣️The bits of humor and light hearted narration added to the whole uplifting experience. ❤️
On a practical level, the idea about how to hide the garden lights was very much appreciated! 😉

You did the best job I've seen with a tour. Your voice is so serene and perfect for these types of gardens. Thank you for your work. 🙌🏽
So nice of you. Thank youuuu🥰🥰🥰🙏
@@leafing.around you are so welcome. You are fun and so easy to understand for someone like me three years in and still learning. You are saving me from expensive horticulture classes. ❤️ I really want to have an Asian inspired zen garden even tho I live in Georgia. I missing "home" which is Sagamihara, Japan for me. So if I can have some inspiration outside I'll feel a little less homesick. 😊
Beautiful, peace paradise of the world
It is always great enjoyement watching your very spectular vidéos , you never enoying me , i love very much leafing around and never would leaving around without interest , greets Carl
I love how you describe plants. It's poetic in a fun way : )
definitely inspired by Bali, it is very clear that architecture only existed in Indonesia thousands of years ago.
Yes good eye! Actually I also asked the landscape architecture about this and confirmed the Balinese influence!
Beautiful ! thank u for sharing plants bring Happiness to my Heart! love your videos Leafing Around! thank u
Thank you - yes I realized now...here we do have them stuffed into pillows too!
The thorny trunked tree at 18:51 is a Silk Floss. I had 2 of them at my former residence. Twice a year for a few months it would bloom into an amazing full canopy of pink flowers. I just discovered this amazing channel today. Amazing videos!!! 🙏🏼❤️
I was going to say Hercules’ Club, but I think you might be right. So hard to tell without the leaves or flowers. Silk floss makes more sense in a tropical garden. Pretty blooms too.
Great landscape designer & created an outstanding design ! This is true delight to eye & mind.!
That thorny tree, is the ''floss silk tree'' and it's super beautiful when it flowers. Big pink flowers, veeery beautiful.
Once again Ms Irene is whimsical...that is why I love watching the videos she posted..so amazing ♥️ Cheers 🤗
So beautiful! I could live there forever.
