Zheng should have won the WTA final .One set up and second set 3 games zero , she either took off her foot or she had same similar score in two others tournament however she managed to recovered. If she can stop trying hitting the line when she not in the best situation to hit it will give her a much better results. Just hit the ball over and wait for the return instead missing it.Hope she play well and first grand slam result is possible for her in 2025 seasons.Off course maintain her aces serves.
@Talking Tennis Hi. I just want to let you know that there's an interesting exhibition event taking place from today until Wednesday, the Open de Caen. The women's singles only has 4 players, so not very interesting. However, the men's singles has 7 players, with Humbert, Norrie, Thiem (playing his final tennis event) & Gasquet involved. What helps raise this event from a typical exho event's that 1 of the 7 spots was earned through the tournament's qualification process & the matches are all full best-of-3 sets. I thought you guys could help bring a bit more awareness to this competition, as it's being streamed on UA-cam & the channel only has 157 subscribers.
No, I just like to bring attention to tournaments that I think warrant more. I mostly watch Davis Cup (which's not in a good state, imo), so at this time of year I like to see if there's anything on that interests me (there generally isn't), as I love to watch tennis. I'm half-French, so I might go to the event next year, & visit some family during the same trip, such as my grandparents, who live just a few hours away. Caen's also around an hour south of Cherbourg (ferry port that receives ships from Ireland, where I live), so it's pretty practical. I haven't attended a sport event in nearly a decade, so it'd definitely be nice to go (I won't go to a Davis Cup tie as I dislike its current format). Hell, if the qualifiers can't be watched otherwise, maybe I'll go attend those, especially since it seems that all matches but the qualifying final are held on clay (which's my favourite surface), & the match format's the same.
To add on the qualification process, it involves 700 players (men & women combined), played over more than 2 weeks, which's pretty impressive for an exhibition, though I think it might double-up as a low-level competition in its own right.
No. What you are doing is this" Yeah, but who knows?... " . Drugs stay in hair for ca 90 days.Swiatek had no trace in hair . All leading tennis players have been tested before the Olympics 15-30 times only in 2024 . There is no way you can be taking something , be tested every few days-weeks and get away with it. Each case is different but , my until very recently favorite Halep, claims how unfair everything is with regards to IS case. It is not. It took Halep 3 months to start coming up with some accounting for it. It took a few days in case of Swiatek. Kyrgios is seeking attention and trying to stir some interest around him in order to $ , Kafelnikov has no idea-he used to play in ancient times as far as testing is concerned . So I would do some little research ;)).

It seems IGA concentrate her games too much and she was not aware how the score in her group in the WTA FINAL will affect her to progress into semi in her group.
Collins must learn how to handle when the crowd upset her. I was very disappointed this happen to her twice after two had won two titles in the mid of 2024. The empire should control the crowd as well. Give a warning to the crowd any disturbance will replay the point or serve may help to stop the disturbances.

Fitness and anxiety may be Iga’s challenge.. also the negative effect of dope or contamination may also be a nagging issue that affects Iga’s results.

Will see how IGA will perform.
If you have a small amount in your system it *could* just be lingering in the body from a while back.

@olita.a pam said minute amounts should be dismissed. I disagree. As explained above. So does Paul Kimmage in the Irish Independent today
She only played 20 seasons others well over 27 or more. The highest 37 two low ranking players. Hope we can understand other players more then her’s .
Zheng and few other up coming will have a major said for 2025 seasons.
