Nah DK is really bad at landing, def worse than Bowser. Bowser's main weaknesses are the fact that he gets comboe'd to hell and back and, like you said, he can't approach for shit. Cloud - Bowser is a really bad mu for Bowser.

You can buffer the turn around input, so that as soon as the throw animation ends, Bowser will turn around on the first possible frame. If I remember correctly, turning around actually only takes one frame, as the animation can be cancelled so you can immediately jump while facing the other way.

Icard But you can easily hit Bowser during his side B because the hitbox of side B is really small. Just use a tilt with some good range
