@@gingerdog8203 Yeah but he should have at least seen it. Especially with his hole obsession and super power. And you'd think he'd go for it before he made new holes when he said it's always the same, Webslinger has a hole others don't.
The safe word reveal made me laugh because I thought it was random, and then an hour later it clicked and I started crying laughing. ZENDAYA! My new safe word.
Since we've met Sage, I've been operating on the theory that during that first meeting with Homelander she had to develop an equation to ensure her own survival. Everything she says or does serves the plan, and there's no way to know what any of her true motives or ideals are until it comes apart or to fruition. Shades of Dr. Strange's 4M:1 moment, the only way out is through.
The end of all of this I want to see Frenchy move into tech nights place . Huey and Annie adopted Ryan . Butcher see's that Ryan is safe and happy and dies . Homelander is down but not out he ends up in deep freeze with his dad
I love that Tek Knight's music of choice for BDSM is Yacht Rock 😅. Speaking of TK, great choice of actor. He was one of the co-leads from FUTUREMAN (very funny show and STRONG recommend), and was funny there as well. And given that he was probably the least known of the three co-leads, nice that he's still gettin' well deserved work. Also, I keep forgetting how TALL Jack Quaid is. Even taller than Homelander from that Season 3(?) scene where he squared up to him. And it's probably been covered already, but I do like how they transitioned the Mother's Milk thing from MM to Homelander in a way that feels organic.
Although sage can reduce your brain. But the bullet that MM hit her. It is likely that she will have a mental breakdown and that will not allow him to revive her and she will die. Although I doubt that will happen and he will be able to return in season 5. But now not being very smart for an indefinite period of time!
Ehh… it was a good-ish episode, but I feel like many of the great plot points were overshadowed by them trying to one-up themselves on the shock value. The whole Tek Night sex-dungeon just… wasn’t necessary?
speak for urself, best scene of the episode. dont forget this show is a comedy, stop being so bloom and have a good time along with this comedic episode.
I'm with you there, I skipped all of that Everytime it popped up because it was just pointless. The story is very slow and all over the place this season more than usual. Still liking the season but not as much as others won't stop watching until it's over.
Have to agree. I said in another comment above how the show and story has suffered as a result of the writers relying on gore and shock value. Those things are fine when they make sense to the story. But this season feels like they're merely trying to build stories around these scenes instead of the other way around.
What made plot twist so predictable is shown in first episode is that Butcher is hallucinating Becca. What stops him from having hallucinations with more characters?
So, Homelander hasn't overcome his need for love because he accepts Firecracker's breast milk. So ending of episode 4 with him not needing love was a filler episode?
I think it might showing a relapse. Like Homelander knows he's been programmed with the need to be loved so he feels confident that he doesn't need it but the second that Firecracker reveals that she's a ready source for his milk addiction, Homelander relapses hard. He's like a drug addict who thinks they've quit but are easily drawn back into the fold. Or maybe it's sloppy writing. Or maybe both.
This entire season is filler!! The writers have lost track and are all over the map. Focused too much on gore and shock value. 2 episodes left and it's just a muddled mess. Ending with season 5 is definitely a good call.
@@davidmcleod5133they just aren’t being subtle anymore bc ppl seemingly misconstrued a lot of the political beliefs the show had in the previous seasons
Tek knight smelling a team up and saying that he in Homelander are the two biggest heroes is it not the worlds, finest, inBatman and Superman. Clark Kent always respects Bruce Wayne, seeing him as a keen intellect, a mash martial artist and a resourceful friend. Here, Homelander belittles tek saying that he’s expendable and that he can’t even fly.
Sage wanting to take everyone down would make her just as bad as Homelander or any other villain. Good and/or innocent people are getting hurt because of plans she’s putting together. Because of situations she put into motion knowing full well how it ends. Her super power is interesting but she’s no different in morality from any other 7
That’s the point of the show. They’re all shades of gray. Sage’s grandmother died in agony for the status quo to be upheld. Sage gave up on society then. Think Ultron, Dr Manhattan, etc. Human nature is flawed
@@MrTambourineMan. To be 100% fair, we don’t know the end goal of her designs. It could be that she’s orchestrating everything as a way to contain or even take down Homelander.
Another good episodes. Only two complaints this time. Stupid of Kimiko to leave her phone, could have easily jumped down and got it and quickly get up again. Also doesn't make sense for Tek Knight to not notice the missing webhole, especially because of his hole obsession. And damn I know there weren't many options, but why the hell did Hughie go in the cave AND agree to get tied down?! Still not more of Cate and Sam is also a complaint in this episodes since we're almost done. Oh an now Sage is confirmed racist. And thought Neuman wasn't the type to use stuff like "mainsplain"...
Sage is a racist? What show are you watching? Are you new to this show? Horrible takes. Oh, you're one of those fans who think that Homelander is the hero, aren't you?
When the series first started the writing was smart and fresh, now it’s just turned into left wing propaganda trash. It’s simple why turn off 50% of your audience? It’s become unwatchable for me
Who told you it's 50% of their audience? The world doesn't work like that lol, and this show is available outside of the US too. Idk even know what propgnda you're talking about.
Why do people out themselves as dumb? The show has always been an allegory for modern American politics and always making fun of conservatives and their batshit beliefs. Homelander, with his narcissism, need for attention, racism, and dangerous self-aggrandizement has always been a Trump like figure (literally says and does things Trump has said and done since season 1). Except Homelander has to be smarter and more proactive because Trump is more lazy, sad, and pathetic. Seems like it all had to be spelled out for you to finally get it. Anyway, why are you watching the show/reactions if you don't like it? You know regular folks don't do that right? Seems like you're looking for a little attention as well. Happy to provide you with the mommy's milk you crave 🤣

I wonder if the creator was a fan of Better Call Saul. They did their version of a Squat Cobbler.

Considering Ryan is a natrual born from another supe, does he even have V in his blood?
Yes, his body produces its own (probably unique) form of V
Ryan is probably immune to the virus but Homelander isn't.
