Edey will be better every week, cause he's still new to basketball and has no ego. But he has pride and will not accept failure. Feed him the ball next game and he'll score 20. Great takes.
I'd also be interested in you guys doing some 4th grade math. You're talking about PT like 3 guys should all be getting over 30 minutes per game. And you're talking about guys like Edey and Wells and Aldama, etc. like these guys are getting better and better and helping the teams success, so clearly they need PT. And Pippen, and Clarke, and Huff and LaRavia and more. AND you're looking forward to GG and Vince coming back healthy. I've been saying this loudly all year, Grizzlies are hands down the deepest team in the League. SO, basic math. You have 200 minutes of PT per game. You want the big 3 to take up half of those minutes. How do you divide up the left over 100 minutes for the remaining 8-10 players? I'm guessing you, like me, are seeing that we could package 2 or 3 good players for one major contributor? I'm a huge fan of Memphis player development and talent evaluation, and HATE trying to make big splashes on the trade market. But. We have too many good players to give them all the PT they have EARNED. It is an interesting, rare problem. I'd be curious how you guys would solve it. Hope y'all had a great Christmas.
All of those role players will lose significant minutes when Vince and GG come back, no doubt. Of the ones you mentioned, I think only Pippin and BC will get minutes then. Huff’s minutes are basically gone now. Jake won’t see this kind of playing time either. If it was me, I would include Jake in a package like I mentioned in the show for a Collins/Sexton to clear up some space. It would likely take BC to get John Collins, but that is an upgrade. Of all of our role players I think Santi is the most likely to be resigned. He, in my opinion, has shown the most growth outside of maybe Jake. So I would trade Jake, Jitty, Huff (if we can), with a Marcus or Luke to free up those minutes and consolidate.
Have a Merry and safe Christmas fellas!! Front office and development need a raise or x-mas bonus!! @wayneo you are so right about the trade talk. I have not heard 1 trade that make sense!
The Christmas Story is still my #1 !! The Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russell is a new classic imo. Go-kart story was hilarious. Go Grizzlies!!!

Merry Christmas @hamerboy417! The Grizzlies are in a great spot to not make a move unless it makes total sense!
