Happy New Year. Do you have any suggestions as to where I might stay in Tobago to enjoy the sights as you have here...guest house or hotels?

It has been many years since I stayed in a guest house or hotel in Tobago as I usually rent a house or cottage. A friend however just returned from Tobago and he stayed at Comfort Inn. He said the staff were friendly, the breakfast very good, the rooms clean and spacious. Comfort Inn however is on the edge of Scarborough and so not near any of the nicer beaches, which is no problem if you are renting a car. I previously stayed at Crusoe Holiday Apartments which is a self catering apartment complex. Several months ago I went there to see if they had maintained their standard and found that they had. Crown Point Beach Hotel is also a good choice. Another friend recently stayed there and enjoyed it. That hotel is directly on Store Bay Beach and there are many eating places and other beaches in walking distance.
