I kind of like the idea of a semi-amnesiac "Rock" existing in the X universe, sporting a new body. That's much cooler than just finding regular ass Proto Man who has just been hiding for 100 years apparently.
It was definitely worth a try! And clearly it worked a little more "as intended" but yeah, I'll probably ditch the VM for the next recording. I did manage to learn a lot, though.
As far as the game itself, the link in the description is the most complete version that exists, as far as I could find. And trust me, I researched it for a long time

Didn't work as well as I expected. I guess the game didn't run properly in 2001 either.
