Cov fan here, Wilder is a real one. Sacked from Middlesbrough and then smashes it with The Blades because the setup works much better for him. I hope Robins gets the same opportunity. We give you a good run today and we're nowhere near our optimum. The Blades are exiting to watch, all the best this season. ❤
Sacked because he went to vacant Burnley job whilst in a current job at Middlesbrough, was repeatedly asked if he had been spoken to by Burnley but didn't shut down the speculation, maybe Robbins should've made a sly trip to Leicester whilst there was no manager there Yeah yeah, what a man etc etc😂😂😂 👍🏻👍🏻
He was awful at Boro. Slated everyone week in week out publicly after bottling the playoffs the season before then would've taken them to league one if he hadn't of gone. Rock bottom with no wins in 10 games or something. Can't just blame the setup every time a manager fails. Thought he was too good for them and deserved the Burnley job and arrogantly refused to distance himself from it.
Cov fan here. the last little touch from wilder was gold. Well fucking said. Too right the players should have tried to do more to keep mark in a job. Its been like having a new team here since he was sacked, sad to say but its the truth.
You only have to look at bassettes disgusting unsportsmanlike behavior to see the character of some of your players .. he's done your club a massive discredit and as fans of our club I know that we wouldn't stand for it here.. we really don't need that kind of behavior in English football ..
@@RYANJ1980think we mean more so the diving and the clipping of Anel when he was on the floor and pinching his neck. Clearly unsportsmanlike and really should've been sent off too. The more he gets away with it, the more he does it. What about the kids watching that game who now think that diving and grabbing players on the floor is going to help your team?
Tell you what. Chris has made a genuine, heartfelt and accurate assessment of the game today. He has also made a very VERY accurate assessment of what got Mark Robins sacked.
Cov fan. Can't disgree too much with CWs comments on the match, most fair. It seems our dummy of an owner is the only person on the planet that wanted rid of Robins, nice to see WIlder speak up. Bassett is a good player and will play in the premier league at some stage but I despised the holding the face thing, completely unneccessary and doesn't reflect well on our club at all. He's young and will hopefully learn to cut this kind of crap out and let his football do the talking. Was good to see Gus back, hell of a player. Assuming Shef Utd don't have some sort of injury crisis they'll end up promoted this season.
Chris, we are all feeling your frustration and disappointment at today's game. Still proud of the lads and how they pulled together in the second half, and two delightful goals from Tyrese and Jez. Anel won't be too hasty in future games, he'll learn from this. Chin up, all of you - we're in a great position still 👍⚔️🙂
Chris is right and honest. Except it SHOULD have been 10 v 10. Bassett gets away with two simulations in our box. At least one yellow should have been given. Then he fouls Anel, falls over him and deliberately elbows Anel in the head. He gets up grabs Anel by the neck, gets pushed and falls over holding his face. Both players should have been sent off. There is no room for that kind of behaviour shown by Bassett in the EFL. Just the way I saw these incidents.
I think the Coventry fans have said everything that needs to be said 👏 😂 you'll be just fine this season and I hope you make the playoffs, good luck the rest of the way 👍 C'MON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZARDS ⚔️ UTB
What a game 🎉 we can actually be happy with the result both teams played excellent 🙌🏼👏🏼 can’t wait to welcome you lot back at ours it’s sure to be another classic ⚔️👏🏼♥️
It's the bogey game after the International break again, when are we going to break that duck, Coventry's second equaliser from the corner was a free header. Good job we have good goalkeeper in Super Cooper because Coventry could have been home and dry with all Three points. Foolish of Anel Ahmedhodzic to react as he did for the red card, but the rolling around by the Coventry player followed by the wink he gave when the red card was given was vile. Two home games now, let's make them count and be in the position we want to be come the end of the season .. Top. ⚔️⚔️UTB⚔️⚔️
Not a fan of either Club but support Boro where Wilder used to Manage. I was interested to hear his thoughts as he looked fuming after the Match. Glad to hear him stick up for Mark Robins too
Spot on. Recognised their player cheating and trying to fool the ref from the off, which worked eventually for them. Anel was rightly sent off for his reaction. And I love the support for Robbins, the one thing I feel sorry for the Coventry fans is they sacked a great manager. As Lampard is not a good manager, especially if he doesn't have money to spend.
Worst ive seen us play .the passing round the back was poor (Coventry pressed us quick) so should have changed it up .not excusing anel but the elbow drop on anels face missed by the lino ???
The players would have played like that for the last 15 games if if Dennis Lawrence and Adi Viveash were still at the club Chris, yes Robins is a great manager but most of the work was done by the coaching staff. Lawrence left to work in america toward the end of last season and Viveash was sacked for a fall out with Robins. The owner tried to mediate a compromise but Robins said he would never work with Viveash again. Robins was the creator of his own demise and he lost the quality of his backroom staff and could not recreate it on his own...it was a case of 'you don't know what you have until it is gone' and Robins couldn't recover. He was one part of a winning combination. He will always be a legend at the club and the fans will be always grateful for how he saved us from oblivion but reality is just that and football is football, we move on.....
Thought he was supposed to talk about Utd.No mention of totally getting midfield wrong and getting completely swamped.Anel fell for oldest trick in the book from first minute.Revved up and lost it.
Really? He's a coward and a weasel but hey if that's the standard to become Coventry's National Treasure, then 'Go Coventry!' 😂 He's got every centre back in the Championship looking to mop him up now, and someone will clean him out. Have to feel for Coventry relying on that
@@Clear_vision_blade We don't 'rely' on it pal - In fact it's a rarity from us. Way too often been the good guys on the receiving end of shithousery. What goes around and all that, eh?
Chris, please leave Sheffield United and come to Coventry, we have a vacancy for you. And bring Hamer and O’Hare with you, they would certainly feel at home. We need someone like you. Plain speaking. Straight. And together we can go to the Premiership. There’s still time… but I suppose that’s never gonna happen because you’re already headed there with the Blades. Oh well, can but dream…. And by the way, I think we can agree that we saw the best and worst of Norman Bassette today. He was fouled and it was a red card, but we want fair play football not bad melodramatic gamesmanship. As a Sky Blues fan I was cringing at those antics. The only excuse is that he has only turned 20 this month and for all his talent he is still a little immature. Good goal though, and he has an incredible work ethic. But yeah, embarrassing…
Bassette stood over anel who was face down on the floor and Bassette placed his hand around the back of anels neck whilst he had his back to him laid face down on the floor. Can anyone explain how this is acceptable behaviour? Anel grabbed Bassette by the front of the neck whilst facing Bassette stood up. I agree this not acceptable but how is this worthy of violent conduct but the other example leading up to it is not? The latter is less cowardly albeit still an offence. Bassette is a coward, a cheat and a dishonourable weasel. He is Coventry's secret weapon apparently. He is certainly a weapon alright. The type so deadly that it ends up hurting the owner. What an idiot. He's chalked himself right up for the rest of the season with every centre back in the league wise to his numptiness. 😂
Typical wilder football Sit deep and try and mug a goal on the break terrible to watch City should have buried this team but with our luck I take the point Whining about norman is just pathetic it's professional football not pub league stuff Didn't mention Thomas getting booked for being kicked in the penalty box Wilder should be bothered about being sacked next year again O'Hare has found the right club
