It is 46 kilometers from Palanpur Junction and serves Passenger, Express, and Superfast trains.
    1:01:10 hours - Our train 20485 Express takes the bifurcation from the Gandhidham bound main line track via Adesar station (Little Rann of Kutch). This main line was metre-gauge until the 2000s. The train switches to the branch line to Mehsana Junction via Patan and Ranuj Junction.

    1:08:20 hours - Patan city seen from the moving train towards Mehsana line.
    1:13:44 hours - Approaching Ranuj Junction station. The branch line from Harij via Chanasma Junction station is visible. The Harij to Chanasma line is still metre-gauge but non-operational.
    1:17:18 hours - The main line from Delhi Junction via Ajmer Junction and Palanpur Junction joins us at Mehsana Junction.
    1:17:34 hours - One of the tracks comes from Taranga Hills, which has been converted from metre-gauge to broad-gauge, and is functional up to Varetha, one station before Taranga Hills.
    1:24:10 hours - Main line to Okha via Viramgam Branch. At one time, all metre-gauge trains originated from Mehsana Junction and proceeded to Rajkot, Dwarka, and Okha via the Viramgam branch line.
