Justin with the longer hair was the best he ever looked on the show😍 The episode was typical Queer as Folk: Brian, who is always accused of not giving a shit, coming to the rescue of his friends and saving the day. He is the best 🤩
Another great episode! I listened to Michelle Clunie's interview and, apparently, she wrote her own (Melanie's) wedding vows. She asked the show runners permission first and it was granted.
Lindsay is gorgeous but her wedding dress is not the look! I liked Granny Faye's gown better. Pretty typical of Brian, who everyone sees as heartless, but he swoops in and saves the day like a superhero. And I love George's and Emmett's relationship, George is so kind and wise and I love to see someone finally living their best life. Emmett is an old soul. They fit together surprisingly well!
I absolutely love Emmet and George ❤ Emmet has always been my favorite character of the show 😊 Like you said, this show was so ahead of its time in so many ways! 👏🏻 Very fun to rewatch this with you!
There’s actually some story lines in Season 3 that are really tough to get through. Season 2 and 4 has always been my favorite seasons, though Season 5 is probably one of the best final seasons of any TV show. Ever.
I'm excited to hear you're planning to react to Looking! I definitely prefer QAF, but looking was a great little show and I especially loved Raul Castillo's character, Ritchie.
This is such a classic QAF comedy episode, and everyone just coming together to support Mel and Lindsay. Brian with his caustic "DGAF" attitude still doing the most to help them. Justin deciding to stay for the wedding is so heartwarming because his connection really is to the group rather than just Brian. Love it. I had to laugh at the ugly Justin haircut you saw. I think I know what it is, but you'll have to let us know when you get there!
Russell T Davies is the creator behind Its a Sin, the original UK Queer as Folk and the rebooted Doctor Who 2005 (and its current showrunner). You got his name quite wrong. 😁😎🏳️🌈
