Cool to know Scout is still in the back of your mind... he is missed by us all. Wolfie is a good companion, glad he's growing up with you, he's turning into another awesome dog by your side!
scout was awesome but tripper had my heart
What happened to Tripper? I've been out of the loop for a while.
@@thecinematicexperience420I don't know the specifics of the situation but since no one else has responded I'll try. I know Joe said tripper came from bad breeders and had tons of health issues during his life that need numerous surgeries. I'm not sure exactly what happened to him in the end but they had to have him put down.
@@TheGreenGrower618 appreciate it. How tragic 😔
Bad breeders, he had degenerative bone disease and his quality of life deteriorated to the point where they had to make the choice to put him down, from my understanding.
Joe, I have been a fam of your channel for about 8 years, and every time I watch your videos I think of Scout. He was a great dog, I'm glad he hasn't been forgotten.
Glad to see you're feeling better! You've got my dog trained well lmao, as soon as she hears your voice say "Joe and Wolfie here!" she hops on the couch next to me to watch. 🐕🦺
Awww that's so lovely 😊🐕
😮😮😅😅
a
We have been blessed with another video from Joe and Wolfie!
Hope your healing mentally brother! Loss impacts you for a while, hope you're doing ok
Mostly Joe and Wolfie not so much. Lovely dog must be waiting for a proper feed
@@Wren9 wym proper feed?
Tarp-Mansion thats the new trend folks. Lets go build the Mansiooons 💪💪💪🏃🏃🏃🏃
A fine 'Joe' video! No rushing to get home. New problems and challenges to be solved and surmounted. I LIKE to see a camp set up and then improved.
Love this type of video, no classic fans will walk away from this.
Hey Joe, I hope your hands will get better, and you get the help you need. I will keep watching your old videos.
I can't imagine how hard this is on you and your family. If it helps just keep making videos about how you are doing. Just talking about what ever you want might help, and keep you out of depression of negative thoughts.
Sending you positive vibes!
You made my weekend! Really needed a relaxing Joe video and here it is. Hope you are hanging in there. Grief is hard. My father died this last year..... Loss sucks! There is no correct way to grieve. Take care of yourself....
I know the feeling I lost my father 2 years ago
A square tarp shelter with a stove has been on my radar for years.....Heaven in a cold fall rain. Awesome job Joe.
I am glad you are able to get out again into the woods. Thanks for the video.
My favorite time of year to get outside. Cool at night, warm during the day, leaves changing. Doesn't get any better. Glad to see you're feeling better.
Hey Joe nice to see your feeling better and out with Wolfie , happy to see you were doing another bushcraft video real nice set up you've done here plenty of room in the shelter for yourself Wolfie and a friend . Love how it iis tucked in to a sheltered area in amoungst the tree's. Epic video awesome shelter good weather, good food and great company with Wolfie let's see more of this type of video , Cheer's Ontario Canada.

Great looking dog. Will help you out there. Keep him happy. Nice vid
Good To See You Back Joe !! Happy Camping.
I enjoy watching when you build a camp and stay in one place for several days. It is very relaxing.
I really enjoyed this trip.
Good to see Wolfie up close Joe. He obviously knows how much extra love and support you need during all your difficulties. We’re provided with all the love they possess and just want to share with their special people. Happy for you now that’s he’s sticking closer 🥰😉👵🐶
Nice tarp house awesome building water close how long u going to stay,?what state are you in??
@@tanyajenkins919Province of Ontario, Canada😉
Great video joe. The shot of the campfire as the sun was setting, with the dog off to the side was a postcard. Really great cinematography.
Good to see you back sir Joe. All the best from Kev across the pond!
Good one Joe loved that Wolfie tracked you down when you left him at camp that's a really good sign you guys are bonding
👋 newbie to your site, but glad I came across it this evening. I've been learning a lot about stealth camping/ outdoor rustic camping ect lately, and truly enjoy running across informative videos that may help my adventures in the near future! This is one of those videos, so thank you kindly:) Looking forward to viewing more! ✌️-Michelle
You gotta check out his older vids too!!
The long ones seem to be the best...
You've got a lot of videos to catch up on
I've actually got to see quite a bit of his videos due to me being in the hospital this past 2 weeks. Joe's videos have actually helped me in more ways than one, and I'm grateful I found them. I'll continue to follow his journey as long as he allows us ❤️ Thank you Joe! -Michelle
I'm fascinated by each structure you build. Keep the great videos coming Joe.
glad to see the Scout T-shirt. Thanks for sharing with us this trip bud!
12:14 “if you don’t know knots tie lots”
Joe this is a great wisdom when in the bush
Love your videos man
Good job. Very well done. Thank you for taking us along.
What a relaxing way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I appreciate the long form videos
Joe. It's good to see you taking it easy on yourself. I enjoy your knowledge and kind of making things up on the fly, which is what the outdoors is all about. Yeah, quite a year for you and continued healing and joy in your life.
Bungee cords for the win! Very handy when hanging a tarp.
Not one of your subscribers would bail on any of your videos Joe. Keep doing you, we all love the variety of your videos.
Miss these type videos. Thank you
That was fun, Joe! Like building a fortress in the woods. Loved it!
Glad you’re feeling better.🫶🏼
THis is Old Joe we All fell in ❤ with 👌
Joe it's great seeing you and Wolf back on here. Thank you for the great video this evening. ❤
It's great to see you and Wolfie back in the wilderness. That was an awesome set up, perfect for a longer stay. We enjoy your channel because it's you being you 😊
Good to see you and doing better . Shingles healed, very well. Wolfie looks great as usual, such a good pup!
Glad you are feeling better Joe! You have gone thru a very, very tough time. But being in nature is the best healer!
Thanks for bringing us along.
.. Good to see you out in the woods having a bushy time ... Wolf is a beautiful camp partner ,, love how he explores proud and independent yet comes to verbal commands so well ...
When I lived in residence at The University of Windsor, my friends and I absolutely LOVED when the caf, Vanier Hall, served London Broil. I'd forgotten all about it until I watched your video. I have to find out where I can buy some near Sarnia or Chatham. Yum!
So excited for a new video
That sequence at 52:49 . . . awesome framing...... excellent camera shot and editing. The sky is so big. Great editing, brotherman.
These are the best video’s to be honest. Love watching, keep up the great content!
Nice long video today. Thanks for sharing.
Love this style. Cheers Joe.👍
So good to see a bushcraft camp again. You guys look happy! Love it! 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
It’s so impressive how trained wolfie has become. Very fun video.
Amazing scenery! Nice to see you in good health mate
Dude, you are looking 100% better than in the shingles video. I do miss ole “Danger Doug” and you out camping, but that’s life. Cheers to ya Joe.🤙
I haven’t watched in a while…did something happen to Doug? 😢
@robinmoore7202 doug doesn't camp much anymore. Aches and pains catching up to him. He goes out once in awhile though.
I know that feeling. I am roughly the same age as Doug. Plus, I have been fighting a brain tumor since 2010. Before it hit, I was on the local lakes every chance I got. 🤙
@@beastman2513 Ouch. I can sure relate to that! Thanks for the info. ☺️
Hell yeah man ,I've been looking forward to and old Joe video. Thanks!
Wolfy seems to be a great trip dog! Natural in the canoe!
Let’s get it
Lots of improvised ideas. Did not know about the double insulated stove pipe sleeve. You work so hard. Love your vids but more so ... the personality and humor that goes with them. Cheers dude, all the best.
Awesome video Joe!! Great to see you back out doing the shelters and bushcrafting mix. Wolfie looks to be caught on perfectly. An awesome companion to get out in the sticks with. Hope your doing well, and keep spinning the videos please!!
Useful trick, when you do a tarp roof setup like Joe did there is, to tie cords on each corner of the tarp and a weight like stick or a small rock on the other end of each cord. Throw the stick or rock over the roof structure in direction where ever you want to pull the tarp to...and then just pull the tarp over using cords.
He’s the sweetest boy! Good dog! 🔥
“Im going to attempt to..” haha
I’m knew. This is rad!
I watch alot of camping videos, prally best to maintain a portfolio of various styles and experiences, but you're definitely my fav. Been riding with you for a few years, looking forward to more
Back when I was a pre-teen there was a Minecraft survival let's play series that I watched all the time, called "Man vs Minecraft" by paulsoaresjr. He called his character Pablo Punchwood, and early in the series he tamed a wolf-dog and called him Wilson. Your videos remind me a lot of that series that played a big part in my childhood, and I'm really happy to see there is another series like it that I can always look forward to. Just a man and his wolf-dog living life in the wilderness. Thank you Joe, and I'm really glad to see you're doing better!
I enjoyed this one ! I think multi day with luxury set up is cool .. Thanks for the Knowledge!
You definitely looking more like the old Joe, great to see you back, awesome video!
You done good on that egg, and lol on removing the crusties, I pride myself on perfect eggs over easy, but even after cooking them over 60 years, still have trouble at times using my 70 yr. Old cast iron, making them perfect. Bacon grease is so yum. Love your channel and honesty and your companion. Thanks
Joe what you’re doing is awesome , l just love watching how you become your surroundings! 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
Very happy to see you!❤
Joe, this may have been your best. The length was necessary for us viewers to downshift into where you were. Everything about it was terrific; even Wolf’s patience when waiting for food. Thanks for sharing. Be safe; and enjoy the woods.
Thanks Joe. Can't wait for part 2! 😁👍🏼😁👍🏼
I'm so confused trying to figure out how you were able to manage this with tattoos on your knuckles.... amazing.
You know it's fall when Joe starts making tarp shelters and forts again.
Great to see you feeling better and in good spirits. Much love from Detroit.
Yae! Great to see You. Always enjoy ur videos thru sad & bad times and Good times ..
That was fantastic & good to see you build another shelter. It was a good, thought out video & I appreciate the work you put into it 🤗👍love Wolfie too 🐾
Awesome too see your awesome videos are back, your doing amazing with everything that's happened, lots of respect an love from Tasmania Australia ❤️❤️🙏🙏
Great job!❤
What I like most about your camp builds is that it has a concept plan. the gear to build it is measured up to the task and as the build goes it changes parameters as real life requires. not a taj mahal but functional. At the end it was very functional and comfortable.
Nice Mansion! ;) Good idea moving the fire closer to the shelter. Great way to get away from the rain & wind. Not sure what it would take to get Wolf to look away from your meal...he is straight on point! Looks like an extremely relaxing outing thus far.
Joe my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'm so very sorry, to hear about your brother. It's just not right how many young people are passing away. My sisters son passed on Aug 23rd. He was 41. And another acquaintance, just lost his 33 yr old son yesterday. Something isn't right. Growing up I never lost anyone that young. So for there being so many young people passing. It just breaks my heart. 💔 Sending love from Collingwood, Ontario 🇨🇦😢🙏💔
Now that looks cozy
Wow! Hard to watch the 1 handed axe swings! I was so afraid it would go wrong for you and your legs. 1st time to channel. I share your love for the outdoors but I’m more of a “leave no trace “ kind of guy so our style is very different. My best to you on your adventures!
Love these types of videos, laid back relaxing!!
My boy and I did a big tarp tent with 3 tarps about 5 years ago. We got to the spot 4 miles hike in after dark and finished setting up around 11 pm. The temp was around 15F. What a night it was. Lol.
Finally another long form bushcraft / camping vid. Ive really missed these.
Thanks for the video Joe and Wolfie!
Great video, just my cup of tea!
👍❤️❤️👍You cooked the bacon perfectly, that's the way I like it. Not too crunchy and not to soggy. ❤
Great 👌 to see you back Mr. Joe. hope all is well. God bless you and your family. Oh I love your hair 😊 love and prayers 🙏❤️
I was just watching the ole youtube when up pops Joe Robinet, famous outside guy
Nice to see that you okay. Always enjoy your videos. Nice have you back.
Your setup reminds me of the way I used to make a camp 70 plus years ago 😊 and it sure served me well. Back then I didn’t have a stove but it would have been nice.
Love the reference to Old Time Hawkey! I watch his videos all the time
I have learned alot watching you. Thank you
Good night Joe and Wolfie! Nice set up!
Dandy video. Looking forward to Pt2👍
Damn Joe😮that London broil and fries looked amazing!
love having u back joe,u clearly are still struggling with things.please be safe and happy i want nothing but the best for u.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I didn't even get a notification that you dropped another video until tonight Joe! Glad you are doing much better. This is the type of videos I like. It's the vintage Joe type video. Wolfie is really growing into a great Bushcraft companion. Watching from Oregon USA!
Nice vibe
Great camp
Good eats
I just got back from a month in the Brown Mountain/Linville Gorge area of NC
God I love living outdoors, I get my best sleep on the ground
I made a bit of a tarp mansion also
I had all kinds of weather but overall it was phenomenal
Mother Nature is amazing, I caught the leaf change from beginning to end on the Grand Canyon of the East Coast.
It was warm enough in the days to bath in a clear little creek with lots of waterfalls.
I was able to go about six days at a time before I had to venture back into civilization for a campground shower, ice and beer.
The cooler in my car holds ice really well, I could have cold beer reasonably nearby for up to 9 days without adding ice. It’s a 90 liter, which equals 3 cases of beer and lots of bacon!
Keep up the great work!
Joe it's been a long time!!! Love you and Wolfie brother!! Good to see you at it! As always you own skills! Live it brother
It’s very obvious You’ve trained Wolfie very well! 🐾 he’s sharp!
Nicely done, Joe. Shelter looks great; stove is cool; Wolfy seems like he's really growing up. All the best. //Br.
I enjoyed this video Joe . This was a beautiful area. We were inspired to get out and go camping. I love the cool crisp fall days .
Yeah buddy. Good times!!
Good to see you back
I met you in Madison Wi at the canoe expo the year before Covid, don't know if you remember I had a cane and was wearing a Wolf knit jacket, you took time to have a couple of pictures with you, I've learned so much from you, I am 57 years old, have had 4 back surgeries, neck and 2 partial knee replacements ( back and neck I have cages of titanium,) what I would do to spend time with you doing that type of camping with you. Thank you for being the the wonderful person you are 😊🏕️
I watched your videos for years , back when you and Scout were best buds. Somewhere along the line things changed for the worst and I canceled my membership looking for channels more to my liking. That was a few years ago. Your channel happened to show up and I thought I would give it another try. This is what it was like in the good old days. I am going to resubscribe and give it another shot. Hoping to see more more of this Joe and Wolfe. 😁😊😀
