I my opinion they should just public one or five heroes are a times and end it completely. Its weird waiting years for it to end and now there is mighty masterworks which is even more confusing due to slower batches but still good for beginners like me . Good they made a cheaper alternative to masterworks line
This was my Spider-man era. Issue 364 was my first issue and I’ve been waiting so long for it to be finally collected. I sold my singles years ago and these issue collected in 23&24 were ones I missed the most. I’m so happy they’re collected.
I was bummed when they skipped ahead to 25 and 26, but now these are finally here!
@@epicmarvelpodcast 26 was nice to see as it gave an ending for the Epic run. I can’t believe 19/26 will be printed by the end 2023. That’s amazing. Still everyone’s waiting for volume 16!

I really love that you covered the entire epic collection of Spider-Man. It’s really useful when it comes to collecting. Just started my collection with Kraven’s Last Hunt coming in the mail today! Hopefully you do an updated video for whatever new epics debut or get reprinted this year! :^)

Man, I've got the entire run of Epics from 17 to 26, and I've got the omnibuses and Masterworks that go from ASM 1 to 262. Only missing Epic 16 and then I'll have everything! It's so great to have all this classic Spider-Man material readily available!

I hope that they always stay in print. Issues 1 - 325 are classics and this is a great way to collect all of the annoying crossover stories.

@@forsakenV12 You’re right, it is overwhelming - I started with Marvel Masterworks but now prefer the Epics for ease of reading and tactility …. But I can’t start over so I’m filling in the gaps - Kurtis does a great job identifying what each volume includes !
FYI - there was a second printing of Vol.18 Venom which fixes all the printing issues from the original Quad Graphics print. Might be worth getting if you want to replace the shoddy copy that you guys have in this video :)

At this point I think Vol. 16 will be the last ASM Epic released, as the matsrial will start being Masterworked now.
Yeah, that is a very valid point. Marvel may want to wait for the Masterworks sale window to pass before putting the same material in a different collection.
Hi everyone. I am french so sorry for my english 😉. I wonder why we do not have the volumes in Epic collection 10 to 14, 16 for Spiderman ; 11 to 15 for Avengers ; 7 to 11 for Dardevil ;
6 to 9, 12 and 19 for Iron man.
Marvel may propose these volumes in a near future ?
Marvel has decided to release every volume in a somewhat random order so that they can cover different eras at different times. They will eventually fill in those missing volumes.

I'd look around online. If you're in the US, G-Mart Comics are still selling new copies. If you're in the UK, then suppliers on Amazon are still selling new copies. It also might not be the worst idea to get a used copy if you're outta luck and they never reprint this.
When I was a kid, Cardiac was my favorite villain. I didn't have a lot of comics, but I had ASM 377, and he was so cool!

I really have no idea. It is so crossover heavy that it would make it difficult, especially if they start up Spectacular and Web Epics. So much double dipping.

Had the same question about the clone saga but it's true, would be difficult to map with the double dips. Still hard to choose what to do, going for the clone saga or not. But will prob wait. BTW End of the clone saga was my first spidey comic (in Dutch). :)
Nice content....subbed. I collected a bunch of x-men Omni's this past year but debating whether or not I should try Spider-man Epic's. I like the idea of being more mobile with an Epic, but I'm not sure about gutterloss. Have you made a video on the subject, maybe comparing the two on how much art is lost?
Unlike X-Men, there are huge chunks of Amazing Spider-Man not in Omnis, but most of it is now in Epics! I’d jump on board. Many of them are being reprinted this year!
For the Bronze Age issues, gutter loss isn’t bad because everything is still contained in white borders. Silver Age books are wider than Bronze Age books, so they try cramming that size in the modern trim so that gutter is way tighter, but nothing is lost. 90s comics with full bleed art does have some loss for sure. Good idea on the video. I’ll see what I can do.

Order them from a comic shop or Amazon. Some volumes are sold out but Marvel seems to reprint Spider-Man Epics often so hopefully you can get all the ones you are looking for!

How does marvel determine what to reprint after how long like for example with return of the sinister six and assassination nation I could be wrong but I think they were both reprinted at least two to four years ago is there any chance they could be reprinted this year? Thanks
If there is significant outspoken customer feedback, they will put it closer to the top of their list. But I don’t mean just one person being loud, it has to be many people. Near Mint Condition held a poll last year and Marvel has been using the top twenty for most of the reprint releases this year.
I don’t recall either of those books getting a reprint, but Marvel really likes reprinting the Spider-Man books so I think the is a very good chance we will see them in 2024.

Yup, I do think so. My guess is that they will launch it after Amazing Spider-Man is done since we are so close to finishing up that series.
Why vol. 16 is much asked for?
It is a long-standing gap in Spider-Man Epics. Vol. 15 was one of the first Spidey Epics nearly ten years ago and it has never had its follow up volume. And for many people my age, those issues are some of the first Spidey comics they read as kids.
