Great video man, very helpful for me as a first time grower. Despite being a certified bungler, I think I could even make this myself! I’ll get on it right away.
4x8 ‘Polystyrene with thin shiny duct tape is what I used for about $35$. With this you can cut to customize the size box for your bins. I may make an entire closet size box instead of Martha tent. Both materials are strong, mold proof and water proof. I’m running tiny 2-20mm waterproof computer fans on speed controller at top pushing down with tiny hepa filters on outside and one fan at the bottom pulling carbon dioxide air out. There is positive pressure so tams don’t get sucked in. I can grow tubs in the same box. I can double stack a tub with mat underneath at 78 degrees. The pan trays sit on racks two high. Fogger gets connected to rainbird control. Mini grow chamber.
Ooh interesting, I might do this but with like a mini air conditioner instead of a heating mat since I live in hotter tropics. Do you have advice for such an incubator as well?
Funny you should ask.......... I recently built an automatic fruiting chamber that includes cooling. I used an isotherm ge 80. It's a refrigerator kit for small boats. Works well. Super expensive. I have it connected to an ink bird temperature controller. When the temp gets above 25c the cooling kicks in and shuts off at 20c. It works really well. It is probably cheaper for you to buy a small portable ac unit and vent cool air into the incubator through some kind of hose when the temp exceeds your parameters
@yokartik A reasonable question. I don't heat the area of my house where my mushroom stuff is. It's about 8 degrees in that room. Saves big time on energy bills. This is much cheaper. It also allows for more consistent temperature control if I'm running an experiment or something.
All of these items are readily available at home. I had never thought of making my own incubator, so this video is a very educational for me.
Big time! I love my incubator
I found your methods in constructing the incubator to be really easy to follow.
I'm glad you found it useful!

Your audio was insanely quiet, but the tutorial was great regardless :)
@rustyleftnut was it? Oh no! Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to fix my setting next time. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial though :D
why dont you just set room tempereture 22c
