Hi Josh, My wife is super impressed with your organizational skills (as am I). I don't think that most people realize just how difficult it is to have everything lined up so that volunteers who have never done this kind of work before can come in and get it done. It also takes leadership ability and the ability to clearly communicate and teach while keeping people engaged. Well done! The high tunnel (greenhouse?) Looks fantastic! I wish I wasn't on the other side of the country so I could help! Building my tiny 12' long low tunnel over one of my raised beds today. You inspired me! Thanks! :) Kudos from California 💛
Hey there Josh, thanks for the shout out! It looks like you follow nearly the exact same method as we outline in our videos, which is great! Thanks again for the shout out, and for mentioning and linking to our hardware! Best of luck to you this season in all of your efforts!
You're welcome. Thanks for the great products and awesome videos. The videos were very helpful and I put links in the video description for them. I'm always happy to promote people doing good stuff.
Thanks also Tunnel Vision. I ordered all your parts last year including wiggle wire, anti-billow clips, pipe clips, and plastic. Your customer service & installation videos are awesome!
Very stout crew looks like you guys got the community give buzzing you guys are doing great things along with a great teacher keep up the good work hombres
Awesome! Iam loving how this is all coming together. Iam working on starting a community garden for my area through our Head Start program. You are inspiring this project thank you for all that you do.
Good job Josh! Looks like you had your hands full for a bit and sounds like you had a personal cheering section rooting you guys on. I will check out Tunnel Vision and see what they have. I need a bunch of stuff for my greenhouse and would love to get it all at one place also. Your getting closer brother, take care buddy
This is helpful, as I am in the process of building my geo thermal greenhouse. How can I get an affordable compost? Here in Atlanta the only source I know is" big yellow bag" 1 cu yard for $160. what kind of price have you been getting? I'm collecting wood chips but that is a slow process, and sometimes difficult to get them. thx, AJS
I was paying around $28-30 per yard for compost at my farm, but we are getting compost donated to this non-profit farm. I get wood chips for free from tree companies.
@@JoshSattinFarming My question is what kind of place to look for to get that kind of price. I've done a search and don't find any bulk places. I need a truck load to get things started. thx
Josh, I really wish you have good close-ups...like putting/installing the "wiggle wire". Explaining the materials and focusing on it will truly help and would make your video very educational. Not all people have seen or have knowledge on these things. It is just like a generalized presentation just for show. I hope you will be more specific on your future videos. Some things maybe simple and easy for you but for not for others/viewers. You have really amazing topics that is why I watch your videos. I hope this will be a positive criticism for you. More power and God bless.
MoestuinMania LOL, you don’t. The wind 💨 goes anywhere it wants to go hence why josh is putting new plastic on. Once wiggle wire is in place all the way around the bit of wind that does come in will not affect it at all, it’s bout as strong as a brick house at this point
@@1982MCI I ask because once I forgot to close my tunnel door and a sudden wirlwind slammed into my tunnel, sort of blowing it up. I like Joshes solution, but I was a bit worried about that part.

Thank you! I have to give a lot of credit to Lisa, our executive director. She does most of the volunteer management.

Thanks Josh! Much better then the clamps we used years ago! Love those wiggle wires!
Looking good Josh !!! Love the way you roll it up on each side.
Ahhh so that's what wiggle wire is! Thanks for sharing. Hoping I will be putting one up this year!
Seems to work even on a slightly windy day. Thanks.
Love it! I need to get a tunnel one day. I didn't know it was this easy to open and close the sides with this system.
Hi. Who can say WIGGLE WIRE n not smile ! Great idea for placing plastic sheeting. Peace to you and yours
Looks great! You must be getting excited to get started with planting!
Everything is looking good. Great crew for sure!

The tunnel looks great and thanks for explaining the build so clearly :-)
Love it Josh! Wish I could be there!
I learn so much with every video, thanks for you are doing!
Good content Josh! Thanks
Does directionality make a difference? North to south? East to west? First time watching the plastic go on. Fascinating!!! Thanks, Josh.
Great job, can't wait till the house is full of plants.
Me too! We have some stuff in the ground now.
I was hoping you were going to give close up of wiggle wire!
Hello Josh think what your doing is great. Y'all are to funny wiggle wiggle lmao
Love the vids brother
Thank you!
Josh, you have a video on installing the hoop house?
I do not have a video on that. The tunnel was there when I started on the farm in February.
Very nice 👍

@@ajsstudiosinc Call around to some places. Reach out to local farmers and see where they buy compost from. It isn't always obvious where to get it.
Thanks for showing this. I just bought a used high tunnel green house. Now I know to buy beer and invite friends over. Do you loan Gene out ?
Haha. Gene is awesome!

Nice!
How do you prevent the wind from coming in on both sides of the roll-up parts of the tunnel?
