Such a good game I really gotta try to go back and finish eventually didn't get very far after the demo. I also can't wait for this game to come to PC or I really hope it does come to PC eventually. I can only imagine what mods people might make for this game.
I strongly believe that Stellar Blade should win game of the year (GOTY) Why? The add attractive looking character in the game, something that western developers refuse to do. This game has been receiving knockback by people that don`t like the game coz of the way Eve looks (which is bloody stupid) but despite that the game has been successful. Kim Hung Tae has done an amazing job with this game, him and the team has put so much effort into the game like the lip sick between the English and the Korean dub versions are completely different and remember, they didn`t have to do this. The developer`s wife worked as a concept artist on the game, a husband and wife working together on a videogame is cool. They have been giving out free DLCs. They have given us over 30 outfits, what other game does that? The fact they made a hack & slash game in my eyes (which has been in the decline for some years now) is amazing. This is their first time making a console game and for the most part it`s a success. They didn`t just make a boring souls-like, they mixed it up with hack & slash elements, bringing people they like those genres to their game which was very smart of them. For the most part, they listen to want the fans want/ask for. The fact that the developer said the back of the character is more important than the front. I know people want to choose other games to win GOTY however if you do, nothing will change and no statement will be made. We need to make a statement to developers that Shift Up`s practices is what we want in videogames. Now if you don`t like Stellar Blade that`s understandable however if you do, I ask you to choose Stellar Blade for GOTY. If you want game developers to buck up their ideas Stellar Blade needs to win it. Also... There is a game I want to let you know about. There is a hack & slash game that`s in development, what makes this game special to me is for the first time in the hack & slash genre the main character is black, on top of that the developer is black. The game look sick, it has a visual aesthetic simular to beyond the spider-verse, you can preform parkour, you can switch stances, its futuristic, it has afro-beats music and the main character looks and sounds sick. The game is called: Yasuke a Lost Descendant If you`re interested check it out and support the devs (Dalliance Studios). Shouts out to hack & slash games, they are making a comeback.
@@vexicution5533 great insight for sure! If it doesn’t win GOTY, it should be in the conversation for sure, at least get a nomination. I’m with you on the things this game did. Like I stated in my previous video, I didn’t give it a chance because I thought it was gonna be “souls-like”, but to me this one had elements of a souls game, but it felt like its own thing. Also with this one, even after beating it the first time and again on NG+ I just couldn’t put it down! The gameplay was smooth, the soundtrack was amazing, graphics were beautiful. I know titles like Black Myth Wu Kong, Rebirth, Astro Bot are getting love - but I do think Stellar Blade should be in the mix. If anything, win best action game or something! 😂 For me personally, I’d pick Rebirth followed closely by Stellar Blade.

I noticed that people are not talking about Stellar Blade that much, they need to keep talking about it just on Shift up`s practices alone. Like I said Stellar Blade needs to win GOTY to make a statement to developers, I strongly believe that if it don`t win it, nothing will change with the developers. Also just to ask, do you like hack & slash games?
