All the best to Eamonn. Just a great breakfast show with both of them.
Good luck Eamonn speedy recovery.
Total legend Eamonn, we can’t do without you. Get better quickly! ❤
Wishing you all the best Eamon, think you may be inspiration to some people having to make the decision that you have x
All the best.. a very kind tribute to your colleague and as my father has back issues I appreciate you talking about your own situation. Kudos for your determination during the late Queen's funeral.
Get well Eamonn!!🙏❤️
Wishing you a speedy recovery Eamonn. We miss you, our friend.
Eamonn we're all with you as you recover from surgery! 😄👏👏👏
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Eamonn!!! 💐💐💐
he's in no rush to get back , he's on full pay just like the lazy bone idle's in the NHS
@@johnhankinson1929 I don't agree. Just because he's being paid doesn't mean he likes sitting at home all day.
Living with chronic (ongoing) pain takes a certain mental strength but getting it cured must be such a
relief. Courage and good luck to all who are in this situation.
Love from the Rocky Mountain State, Colorado, USA.
Get well, Eamonn. You’re the best ever! And, Ruth. XO 💕
Speedy recovery Eamonn 🙏🏻🍀
Wishing you better, nothing worse then chronic back pain, it totally takes everything and tramadol becomes like a best friend. I hope your treatment is a success Eamonn and do all your mobility exercises with your therapist.
Eamonn.
Fantastic honesty my friend. Total admiration for owning up to when you needed some help.
What a brilliant team you have with you. Sincere good wishes for the future for yourself and of course for Ruth !
Best wishes from here in the Philippines 🇵🇭
I love Eamomn. Be well son. x
Back surgery was the best thing I have ever done, It gave me my life back.
Have another?
Then you are lucky I had three level fusion because I had to .afterwards I lived downstairs in my living room in bed for nearly a year and I was still left in chronic pain.i still survive on oxycontin and morphine so think yourself lucky most do not work.
@@nellyt2807 ❤
I’m so sorry that it didn’t work for you , I do count my blessings every day , take care
@@nellyt2807 I recognize your pain Nelly, most do not have a successful first surgery. Keep hope alive my dear.
Love GB news. Genuine people and good intentions. Get well soon Eemonn and keep shining GB news 🇬🇧❤️🙏
I must say too, listen to your surgeon, do exactly as you’re told, take the required time to repair. Invest today and reap tomorrow.
Get well my lovely ... let Ruth look after you 💕 my friend has had the same problem for 8 years cannot get any help from NHS she often said I don't have any quality if life whats the point of living ... we don't realise how depressing it must feel to be in constant back pain
I love GBNEWS ❤️
Love these two presenters, Isabel and Eamonn are a great presenting team. I remember when I first saw them on GB News, I thought , hang on, I'm sure I tuned into GB News and not Sky News !! Same with Stephen Dixon, another great presenter. Eamonn, glad you are on the mend and I hope the op has helped with the chronic pain. Get well soon and look forward to seeing you back in the studio presenting with the lovely Isabel. All the best, Daz, Leicester.
Am going through this lower back pain right now. And you're right Emmon getting in and out of chairs and cars, my doctor and I are trying to find some pain relief....
All the best Emmon and have a speedy recovery 💜💜
Try a tens machine and pregabalin either 150mg or 200mg but you might end up constipated so use laxido to counter that.
Wishing you well and a speedy recovery…your a very lucky man 🇬🇧
That was a very nice tribute. I hope things have improved, Eamonn.
From the U.S.A. wishing you all the best Eamonn.
Chronic pain is a hidden illness, thanks Eamonn for highlighting it. Too many people go through there day pretending everything is okay.
Agreed
And the lack of efficient treatments and support gives people no hope 😕
Ive dealt with chronic pain since 1998! I damaged my spine and it just went downhill from there. I lost everything my wife my life but thankfully i have my sons. Its degrading and the system to support you is not fit for purpose. I cant describe how it changes your life and how constant pain eats into you day after day. Its soul destroying and lack sleep compounds everything. My trouble started exactly like Eamonn. Furniture even designed to be helpful is a torture device to me. At 19 i was stuck in hospital for a week in traction that was my first slipped disc in 89, i damaged it again by picking up my phone at work.
Get well sir
@@MrDunkycraig Duncan there's nothing I can say to make your life easier except to say, if you can take up something like art to try and distract your mind it would help you enormously. I was in a car crash, broke my back in two places, crushed disc. Chronic pain to this day, painkillers, the lot. I hope I offered you some help. Don't know where to start. Buy Master Oils book. Buy the mere minimum equipment needed, it's not expensive. Don't for Christ's sake think I have no talent - art is no different to carpentry, it's a learnt skill. Best wishes
I've got exactly what Eamonn has. It's ruined my life, NHS are no help. Coming up to ten years, it sucks. Hopefully Eamonn gets a bit relief 🙏💜
I have a similar problem I've have chronic pain for just over 20 years
He was very lucky. The vast majority of us cannot get good back treatment or any other treatment.
Thoughts and Prayers, Eamonn. Get Better Soon. 😊🙏💕💕💕💕
Sending lots of love get better Eamonn ❤
Get better soon Eamonn! 🍀🍀
I sympathize with you, I have had lower back & neck surgery 20 yrs ago & live with chronic pain & my surgery didn't go well. I'm past worrying about what others think, I use my crutches, disability scooter & put my head up & get out when I'm able. Spinal surgery is the most painful, I know what you're going thru, it's hard. PLEASE TAKE IT SLOWLY. Good luck with your recovery. Big hugs to Ruth!
Good man. Speedy recovery...
Get well soon Eamonn, best presenter ever💚💚💚
Great presenter.all the best Eamonn
Get well soon Eamon we miss you. ❤️
Get well soon Eamonn Holmes, 💜
The statement about chairs is SO right. “If your bottom is lower than your knees” you’re in trouble. Listen up car designers! Thank goodness for my 20+ year old car a Toyota Picnic, which has yet again sailed through its MOT last month.
Love Eamonn!! I'm glad He is getting better. If we can't have Ruth, I'm very happy that he has a wonderful cohost! Praying for you!!!
Your One of very few that miss him.
I had spinal surgery just shy of a year ago. I felt better from the moment I came round.
Take care Eamonn we can't wait for you to get back to Cheltenham racing 🐎.
Get well soon Eamonn
Amazing how some folks are able to get an operation.
Get well soon Eamonn. I miss seeing Isobel trying to keep you in check ! 😃
Get well soon Eamonn. Your commentary and analysis is missed by those of us who occasionally disagree with you. Not seeing you on the program, I was worried you were called in as a SPAD for PM Truss or Jeffrey Donaldson.
Hello emonn i wish you well very soon much love xx
Get well soon Eamonn. You're one of my favourites presenters at GB News alongside the lovely Isabel
Get well soon
Good luck matey, get well soon
i went through this terrible pain
ขอบคุณค่ะท่าน❤❤❤
Eamonn, best wishes! Get well soon. I heard the interview this morning, very touching & I want a Pocket Rocket. My back is not great. I think the team at GBN, might help. LOL
Eamon is right. I suffer from chronic pain after an accident and there’s nothing worse than when it attacks your back,
get well soon eamonn you are 1 of the good guys on tv and a big man united fan although they could do better it has to be said.
Eamonn I hope somehow you read my comment. Thank you so much for your recent comment where you acknowledged the people in society, who suffer in silence. I was in a life changing car crash commuting home from work, elderly motorist pulled out in front of me on a badly designed motorway and I broke my back in two places, crushed a disc in the lowest part of my back. I can't sit down in comfort. Consigned to a list of painkillers and nerve block - spinal fusion or disc replacement surgery my only options going forward with no promise of relief. I wish you well.
Couldn’t care less so many people suffer pain he’s lucky he can get help
Disc issues are the worst had one two years ago and the pain is just horrendous u can’t imagine plus the sciatica pain and it only gets worst can so relate to this the operation is risky but if u In chronic severe pain get to stage where u feel nothing to lose get well soon
Best to Eamonn.
Get well soon.
Eamon I have had back surgery too. Please get well soon. Can I recommend hydrotherapy it really helps with your recovery.
I've lived with chronic pain since 1972. I've had 2 failed fusion surgeries, then 3rd was just ok. I'm due to have more fusion, I used to walk very long miles but now 5 mins is a challenge. Sorry about the whinge, I know exactly how you feel. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia (72 yrs)
Keep as well as you can, and greetings from middle England. I don't think most people realise, that virtually every move you make is felt in the back, unless you've had problems.
@@El.Cid17 exactly, people believe if you can't see it then it doesn't exist. Even breathing causes pain at times, I won't give up . Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia
Get well Eamonn. XXXXXX
An Occasional Therapist can help with all adaptations needed at home. Al being well Eamonn will feel better but he really should see an Occupational Therapist and still have the correct advice and guidance to protect his back in the future.
❤️❤️❤️
Being overweight most of his life must have put a strain on his back. If one looks after themselves throughout their lives, these problems will not appear.
Must be nice to decide to have a surgery one week and get it the next... I've been waiting three years after deciding to have it..
Thousands of people have back problems every year, but they don't go on twitter every five minutes to tell everyone about it !
Hi Eamon. Speedy recovery. I suggest you try some homeopathic post-operative remedies to speed recovery. They can help with inflammation also. Best of Luck.
“Heal itself” ? Should be a warning to all of us. As we get older we get sarcopenia - muscle loss. The weaker muscles make injuries both more likely and more likely to result in a chronic issue. I started strength training - under a barbell 4 times a week to make this less likely to happen.
For Just one hour without all that i hate
As your poisoned thoughts gives you the feelings of falling from grace
Not to blame for the life that’s led you to this empty place
Your frowns you hide deep down inside leads to the shame you feel
With painful tears and bitter streams rushing from your eyes that are all so real
Everyday you wake up with tired feelings of muscle so raw
Your body burns its becoming harder to carry your burden any more
All that surrounds you in life was full of love and made you feel so great
Now you’d give all your worth away for just one hour without all that you hate
As you fight your body’s long warn out roaring red flames
Joining burning bones crippling muscles and cramps that overcome your brain
Wanting so much more out of your brilliant dreams of life
Now with only darkness that blinds trying to bury your brightest of lights
You hope your strength can over come your fear
As you drive on though your pain for another long cold year
Then it cripples in the theatre of life that try’s to repair you again
With wishing's of recovery praying for your body to mend
Just the want of a fix to come and help pull you though
As your darkest emotions start overwhelming you
Knowing there be no rest at night for you now
As your body burns your soul in your living hell
With the tears you shed only making you feel worse
So you must never blame your self for your body’s curse
And try to let go of all of your own life of pain
Remembering how proud you have made us of your name
Only think of all the positive things that you have done
And how much joy the world all feel with all that you’ve become
Then maybe one day all our strengths can help take your pain away
And always remind your self that you warm our harts each and every single day
Lower back pain is nasty. I find a Shiatsu massage chair or pad helps relieve the lock up.
Eamonn you need to look up MBST.
Also, the side affects of steroids can be weight gain and depletion of calcium in bones. This depletion over time can result in falls and fractures more easily.
bless him
Physio, too.
Its carrying Man Utd thats done the damage Mr H 🤣🤣✌️✌️🇬🇧🇬🇧
NICE have recommended acupuncture for chronic pain. It is incredibly effective but you need to see a practitioner who has completed a degree or equivalent in acupuncture, not a physiotherapist who does dry needling as this is different.
The British Acupuncture Council have a list of practitioners on their website that have the necessary qualifications. I have astounding results with my patients that suffer from chronic pain.
Did he have a face lift recently.
He does look different .

i like GB News but not Eamonn Holmes , it's just fine and dandy when you can afford to go private to try and get rid of the pain , what about us ordinary plebs that can't afford it and i bet he's getting paid for not working . Talk about pampered , 3 days a week for about 40 weeks per year and they call it working , fuck me
Some people wait years for surgery.
