The new blast status effect has 2 effects: A standard DOT tick which scales off a 0.3x mod and an on-death/max stack detonation which scales off of a 3x mutiplier. Both do not scale with elemental mods, however this is bypassable on the detonation. The 0.3x effect is ignored as it does practically no damage. The max stack detonation is relative to the enemy, so acolytes and the like will detonate earlier with a weaker potential effect. The calculation of multiple blast statuses for this 3x detonation is NOT a multiplier but rather based off the damage dealt by each individual blast. For example blast 1 crits while blast 2 doesnt, it'd just be adding those 2 together. The blast detonation also functions somewhat inversely to heat inherit. This new blast donation mechanic will not be used for this run but we will still explain it here. When considering heat inherit it is possible to single dip faction mods and that same thing can happen with blast. The detonation scales off the original weapon's stats but if a separate weapon is used to detonate then the radial portion will scale off the faction mods of the weapon used to activate it. The use of Xata's/Lash allow us to make use of elemental% because their damage scales off of elemental mods (and faction) even when the original instance might not scale with various multipliers (including those elemental mods). This ensures that the elemental mod is not entirely dead weight, while the Xata's instance will triple dip faction mods. In the context of this new blast mechanic, the weapon which activated the detonation will also be the provider of elemental% to Xata's/Lash. The blast detonation does not hit the original target, and that is why we use Zephyr's tornadoes. They can redirect the detonation while also proc'ing Xata's whisper. The detonation, even after the recent hotfix, cannot crit or apply status effects which prevents it from self-looping. Paris Prime Incarnon is used because the Incarnon form is base heat and final evo grants it a large base status chance. It lacks headshot and critical headshot multipliers but that is negligible as there is no double dipping in this scenario. However it still can hit non-head weakspots which allows for the potential to double and even triple dip such cases. On the frame, 5 status chance shards are used to optimize Paris. This allows for every shot to detonate immediately. When multiple blasts over cap are applied it should be that even the extras are detonated. The new mod "Rifle Elementalist" is simply a multiplier to our status damage and is additive with similar effects (like Saryn's green shards). This effect is possible to double dip by using forced slash (such as Garuda or HM) or Toxic Lash but we do not have access to that possibility on Zephyr or the demolishers on Mars.

(fastest ttk when damage is met, lowest scaling potential, hardest to build around, and easiest to use, best for ungrouped or damage link) Electric: enemy reliant damage, uncapped stacks, decent status needed, benefits from crit & headshot bonuses, tiny aoe, bane double dip, ragdoll quadratic scaling per bodypart (Most viable for automatic weapons, highest scaling potential, easiest to build, and hardest to use, best for dense grouping & high proc counts)

Since funnel clouds gives you 11 tornadoes, you hit the enemy 12 times with one attack, all in the same tick, so damage attenuation doesn't have a chance to kick in.

I had fun with phantasma and strun incarnon with my zephyr, and for sure gonna play around with xata and despair incarnon next with zephyr. Calling in Eagle for 1000kg carpet bombing to these poor victim of tenno's insanity.

It used to be that the dr from armor could get to like 99.9% with how it scaled on enemies, now it's capped at 90%, so it's literally up to 100x damage when comparing strip-less Not sure if demos were able to get that high before accounting for their other dr, but still, the difference is massive
