I have to say, I like Ebina as a character, she is really self-aware of her selfish decisions and even despises herself for that, but she continuous moving forward and tries, not to be a better person, but to be happy in her own space. She is sort of like Hikigaya if he actually had taken the "making friends" route from the start and stood with that.
