Let me tell you something.
I experienced the same thing about 20 years ago. I was sleeping and I was woken up to the Holy Spirit saying this to me, "I didn't leave you, you left me." Then the Holy Spirit left my body and I woke up reaching out trying to grab God and bring him back.
I mean I had an outer actual body experience where I saw what happened AND I felt his presence leave me. Let's just say for the next 15 years, I went through self inflicted HELL!!!!!!!! And when I was sick and tired of being sick and tired, I gave my life back to Christ ✝️

Thats almost exactly how I found God. But instead of only fans it was a decade of hardcore meth addiction. I came home from an induced coma congestive heart failure enlarged heart and adema at the hospital caused by drug use. I locked myself in my room pulled the shades and turned the radio on to the rock and roll station 96.7 kcal rocks. Had a quarter of meth melted in my pipe. Was just about to hit it when a thought was put into my head but it played like somebody was saying it. The first sentence was a quote from my grandmother. “Don’t be an idiot! If you remain on this road you’ll be dead in less than a year. And you are meant for so much more.” I threw my pipe against the wall so it shattered. I got up admitted myself into the hospital for addiction. Got out a week later was placed in a halfway house where I recovered for several months. Started reading the Bible and got a warehouse job. I’ve now been clean from methamphetamine since July 1. 2003. Will never go back.

I literally found a Bible at the beach while meandering around lost in life while praying "Jesus I need a miracle". Went to the beach on a "tough day", praying for a miracle, and low and behold a box of free Bibles is at the beach waiting for me.
The key was I prayed to Jesus. I had always prayed or so I thought but nothing happened until I truly accepted and followed Christ. He is the Way.

My father just disowned me because I have cancer…. He said it wasn’t his responsibility to look after me.
I had to sleep in a park bench after having abdominal surgery for cancer before finally making it to a Greyhound bus then have to live in to recover from cancer .
Today I open my Bible and it went straight to the verse that I needed. I screamed and cried out of my car all day that I just could not forgive…. That was wrong about me that I’m not unfixable…
I realized that the only father that I need is Jesus . I also realize that I need to be reading my Bible every single day, not only out of obedience, but to prepare myself for every day. I’m glad this young lady found the Lord.
