Nate, sorry to ambush your post here but I'm interested in your program, Piano Chord Breakthroughs and just wanted to be sure that the skills learned in the program are the foundation needed to play songs how you present them here on your channel and potentially on our own. Is that a fair assessment? Appreciate it and thank you!
The Abbey road medley is probably the single greatest 17 minutes of music - call it "pop " ...call it " rock "...of the modern era. It contains all that had gone before and all.that was to come...!!
I am really enjoying learning this, all these lovely chords are new to me, this is opening up a whole new world after years of relying on sheet music. I'm trying to memorise as I learn along with your tutorials, yesterday I learnt Penny Lane, this is so much fun, thank you!
I finally learned this song. I love playing it. I also went online and looked up the chords of "Carry that weight". I added a couple of lines of that at the end of my version. I think it sounds great. I always enjoy your tutorials
Nate, much love from Canada man thank you! I've gone from absoluetly zero musical experience to knowing multiple songs in the matter of months thanks to you. I'd lovee to see you do "Salt and The Sea" by The Lumineers or "Bathroom Light" by Mt. Joy or honestly anything from these bands! Thank you again! Blessings to you and yours sir
Nate, I love your tutorials! I was able to learn "For No One" with the help of your video. Can you please make a piano cover of "I Will" by The Beatles?
As always A1 tutorial. We need some Bon Jovi. Bed of Roses and Always. I would love to see what you do with these especislly Bed of Roses!! Go Nate!! Your tutorials are the best.
Hi Nate. I'm new to your channel and enjoying it quite a bit. You're teaching me many songs from my high school days (and I could quite nicely one a steady diet of Beatles) but I would love you to also cover some Beach Boys - God Only Knows, Don't Worry Baby, Caroline No, Wouldn't it be nice, and if your really adventurous Surfs Up. Thanks.
So glad to hear this! You're in luck for two of those: ua-cam.com/video/nlHMrX4ooRg/v-deo.htmlsi=O-CaGzc9pM3OEeRg ua-cam.com/video/dCk2o5T49T4/v-deo.htmlsi=sriBjH-ah-Eh1y5p Enjoy :)
Hey Nate, thanks for another fantastic tutorial. Honestly you are doing a great job! The way and speed of your explanation is just perfect. My daughter is learning piano on the classic way. She loves it. But she just discovered playing chords as well and though we are from Germany and she doesn’t speak any English with 7 years, she insists me translating your tutorials 😂 anyway. She loves „Just take my heart“ by Mr. Big. I know, it is a guitar based song. But I am pretty sure that it would sound amazing on piano. Do you think it would be possible to do a tutorial on than song? I am not sure though, if many people request it and maybe it won’t generate as many clicks as other songs. But on the other hand I think it would be a fun song to Analyse for you, too. Certainly you would make a little girl very happy❤
Hi! Thanks so much for the kind words, and I am so happy to hear that your daughter is learning and enjoying my videos. I will check out that song and mull it over. Cheers!
Great tutorial Nate, let's move on to "Carry that Weight". "You Never Give Me Your Money" would be a great addition down the road. Thanks for all the great tutorials you continue to crank out. Well Done Mate. Time to head over to revisit "Penny Lane".
Nice brother ! Do you use the digital piano as midi to record ? Is the piano tone coming from the digital piano itself or generated by the DAW/software in the computer using the midi ?
I bought both of your piano courses, but is it possible to have a database of the song chords and lyrics so I don't always have to plug in my email address?
Hi! This is an interesting idea. I think I can figure out a solution for paid course members. Could you email me at hello@pianowithnate.com and I can help you out with this?
That's exciting! You can learn a lot without the pedal but the sustain pedal is important to sounding really pro. Almost all keyboards have a sustain pedal jack in the back...double check that yours does and then you can buy one seperately. I like this one: amzn.to/3A1ZWac
Am I the only one having trouble to sing the "sleep little darling" part? Has anyone got tips? With that chord with the prominent G# I can't get the notes right... (which are A G E A if il not wrong...) that semi tone appart kills me!
I hear you! That minor/major half step tension with the G and G# is a bluesy touch but it's indeed super dissonant. If I linger there to analyze it it sounds pretty bad, but somehow it totally works in passing. I'm curious...does it also bother you when you casually listen to Paul sing it? In the process of learning it you may have zoomed in too much and now perhaps your ear is being overly sensitive to it.
Great lesson! When at the end of your lessons you play the whole song - maybe it would be better to play the song with chords & lyrics on the screen? Like this guy does ua-cam.com/video/dwxRBb_MtPA/v-deo.html Or would it take too much time for editing & other stuff?
Thanks John! That is good feedback...it certainly would take quite a bit more time and result in me posting less frequently. I do hope that people are downloading and printing out the chords/lyrics charts I provide to follow along. I will mull this over though, cheers!

@@dougw1737 Hi Doug! Yes, that is a fair assesment. Feel free to email me at hello@pianowithnate.com if you have any more questions!
My English is not good enough but there were no golden slumbers tutorials like this on youtube, very well explained ,well now there’s one
Thanks so much!
Never apologise for not mastering a foreign language, the fact not to use your native language in your comment makes you a gentleman/ “gentle lady”
Another great tutorial! But if you’re gonna do this song, then you’ve gotta also do You Never Give Me Your Money.
That would be awesome to have a tutorial
A song so simple .......only a Genius could have written it !
Thank you Mr McCartney for all you gave us ....🙏
Indeed!!
Another one of my favorite Beatles songs, great work covering it Nate!
Thanks!
That was excellent! But it felt a little incomplete without Carry That Weight. But...then it would have felt incomplete wihout The End. Never Ending 🙂
And then I would have to do Her Majesty...😂
@@PianowithNate No, please NEVER do that. The album (and The Beatles) finishes perfectly on The End.

Love this and your previous Beatles lessons. Can't weight to watch for "Carry That Weight and The End" to complete this excellent video.
Absolutely. I agree totally. Please, Nate. Make a video of Carry that weight. For me those two songs are so connected.
Nate - your tutorials are the best
Thanks so much 🙏

I love the Beatles and I love you to help us play their songs!!!
Cheers!
Thank you!!! And nice work channeling Paul's voice and energy
Thanks so much!!
Another song that I wanted to be covered by you! You have been on a roll recently with the number of uploads!
Not my favourite Beatles tune but I’ll play it for practice so thanks for all your tuitions
Enjoy!
Thank you Nate!
Cool tune Nate! 👌
Love it Nate! Great job.

Great tutorial - I came for the piano but I like your singing too.
I appreciate that!
I was just sitting at my piano wishing that you had a version of this. Wowza, thank you! One of my favorites.

I will definitely get to this one!! Hopefully soonish
hi that was a great tutorial and also a very great cover i really enjoyed it
Thanks so much!
Fantastic tutorial Nate, many thanks from the UK❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great tutorial Nate, and tougher than it looks :)
That makes sense...is it because of the big stretches on some of the chord shapes?
@@PianowithNate No, for some reason I find the transitions from chord to chord harder than many other songs.
Wonderfull. Thanks Nate
Cheers!
Bro,great tutorial and great choice
Appreciate it!
Excellent as always.
Thank you! Cheers!
My favorite song, thanks for your hard work! ❤️💛
Cheers!
Can you teach We all fall in love sometimes by Elton John
Thank you mate!!
Happy to help!
Nate, I love your tutorials! I was able to learn "For No One" with the help of your video. Can you please make a piano cover of "I Will" by The Beatles?

Do you have a version of ‘If the world was ending?’ Love your videos!! So much better than any others I have tried to follow!
Continue THIS! 🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹
I ended up playing it all. It's Beautiful! 🎶
What devices are you singing through? A gated delay?
Its just a short slapback delay and some reverb! (I record into Logic Pro and process everything in there)
This makes me wish you would do "Shes leaving home". So many great Beatles songs.
Good idea! Slowly but surely working through their catalogue :)
Good Job, buddy! 🎹🎹🎹🎹
Thanks a lot!

This one you sang exceptionally well. 👍🏻 Could you please carry on or the next track? Carry that weight and the end?
Thank you so much! 🙏 I'll definately think about adding some more from the medley :)
Hi Nate , i got the mccartney's fever , i like to learn from you the song 1985 from wings , thanks

Hi Nate, great video, please could you maybe do a tutorial cover of goodbye stranger by Supertramp?
I'll check it out!
Could you do carry that weight and the end? To finish off!!
Hey man,
I was wondering can you teach us how to play "Blame It On the Girls" by Mika? If possible!
Thank you for all of the tutorials.
Great stuff Nate. You're a star! No Carry that weight?
Not yet 😭
Nice brother ! Do you use the digital piano as midi to record ? Is the piano tone coming from the digital piano itself or generated by the DAW/software in the computer using the midi ?
Yep, I'm using it as a MIDI controller into Logic Pro and the piano sound I use is Alicia's Keys
