"Tom, I'll need a ride home" is the funniest line in any movies ever
i was literally about to comment the same thing kills me every time, its also the fact he's always drunk when he drives and everyone just permits it, that and the troopers hat getting bigger
I think that line shaped my sense of humor
Yeah, thats my favorite line.i say it all the time with zero context
"I'm sorry i wasn't listening" after Cindy delivers the news is one of the best too
I’m so glad they caught that. Some people miss it.
'My wife couldnt get pregnant. Neither could i'
Loved his delivery. RIP George Carlin
She took her to the old family farm and drowned her in the well. I thought a simple time-out would have been sufficient.
There is no greater Comedian in the history of the Multi-Verse than George Carlin.
George’s girly scream when he accidentally turns off the basement lights always gets me😂😂😂
I howled in the movie theater when I saw that part 😂
🤣🤣🙋🏻♂️ Same..
Why did he sound like MJ
Simon Rex is so funny in these movies that I was shocked at how good he was in indie dramas like Red Rocket.
@@jculver1674 Wasn't he also in that sitcom show What I like about you with Amanda Bynes?
“Tom, I’ll need a ride home.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 YESS!! SUCH a hilarious line! I crack up EVERY SINGLE TIME he says that! 😂😂 Just run over dude's wife & asks that, lmao. Crap, I called him dude. Forgot he's not a stoner anymore..😂💀
@@chrisbell9075 🤣🤣🤣
Still one of the funniest lines in any movie of all time.
still has me dying every time!! that dead pan delivery!! 🤣🤣
What an insensitive piece of
Fun fact: The aliens are voiced by Tom Kenny, the voice actor of SpongeBob.
You might be lying..
He does sound like Tom Kenny
I can hear it now that you mention it.
Leslie Nielson really elevates everything he's in.
Most of the rappers are actual rappers, even the guy playing George. The President's aide is also played by Ja Rule.
Nielsen
There are only 2 rappers here as far as ive seen
Fat Joe and Ja Rule
The "And Twins!" joke is in reference to a series of Coors Light commercials from the early 2000s where the singer/narrator of the ad lists off things he likes about football/summmer/whatever the topic of that particular version was and ended almost every verse with "And TWIIIINS!".
"Cindy, the TV is leaking..."
Brenda is the best part of this whole franchise.
Also, the sheriff's hat slowly getting bigger will always be my favorite visual gag from this entire series. It's so dumb, yet subtle and never addressed.
Charlie Sheen's character looks at it for like half a second like "huh" but then accepts it... this is one of the rare moments of the whole franchise where Troy Barnes' line "theres a time and place for subtlety and that time was BEFORE Scary Movie" doesn't apply.
She's great but Anna Faris is the face of this franchise.
Shes the face, but brenda carries it@@joaolucasgomes3033
The "can you hear me now" line is a reference to a Verizon ad campaign in which the character would walk across the country asking if the person on the other end could hear him.
That boat fog horn transition reaction was legit top tier humor. As smart as anything I've ever seen in a satire film.
The whole crash scene cracks me up everytime with the food innuendos, the Mexican hat music in the distance, the "Don't call me dude, I'm not a stoner anymore," line, the fact they use Denise Richards as his wife & her coughing up a spark plug.. But the M. Night Shyamalan guy on the side of the road saying, "Tom, I'll need a ride home," after having just ran over the guy's WIFE is such a great line, it takes it to another level of funny. I done a spit take drinking a soda the first time I saw that part, lol.. It's SO FUNNY..😂😂😂
And "Annie are you okay, are you okay, are you okay Annie" referencing Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal
The cops hat gets bigger everytime she tries to reassure him everything’s fine, like a pinnochio reference lol
I actually never thought about it that way
@@josesalazar712 I found out over the years that I seem to be the only one who did so I could be completely wrong 💀 but the timing and reference at least makes me laugh
The shotgun shovel is one of the best prop gags ever.
Its the best joke in the film imo
“They’re powerless without their heads!” - I still work this line in whenever possible.
This movie is the reason that i can't watch signs without laughing
"They've mastered intergalactic space travel, but they can't get through a wooden door?!"
Not having to dye her hair black (again) was one of the conditions, which Anna Faris set for her to appear in SM3. As she was too afraid to become stuck in this one single role for the rest of her career. Lucky her, lucky us, that this did not happen at all, and she gets to play lots of characters
17:40 TV anchor played by Jeremy Piven is a perfect callback to Steve Carell's role in Bruce Almighty
I think my favorite Joke of the film is "Tom, I'm gonna need a ride home"
@@thejustinsteffan Lol what, it is indeed an amazing joke as it subverts every similar scene in history where the one who killed someone's family was present.
@@thejustinsteffan if i were you, i'd avoid talking about taste with that profile pic...
@@thejustinsteffan We all know what the phrase - no accounting for taste - means. But at least the little troll got the attention they so desperately craved. So well done, I suppose?
@@thejustinsteffan You ok dude? Getting your daily dose of attention for the mentally ill troll you are?
Have you seen that movie "Rat Race (2001)"? That movie's hilarious with awesome cast.🤣🤣
I asked them to watch Rat Race a couple weeks ago as well 😅
Yes, Rat Race! A very underated comedy!
@@DNOTSoGoodArtist I've also been on the Rat Race train! I hope they watch it.
That movie is hilarious!!!
"Tom, I'll need a ride home" cracks me up, no matter how many times I see that scene.
"Tom, I'm gonna need a ride home" is my favorite line and delivery. It gets me every time.
RIP George Carlin and Leslie Nielsen.
The "Twins!" part was a reference to a series of beer commercials from the early 2000s.
12:53 We're used to hearing Simone saying "Oh my God! But it's pretty rare that George does it.
"Tom, I'll need a ride home."
the parts I like best was when George just laughs while Simone get the look of disgust before understanding kicks in
Fun fact time (Yay):
In this movie the President (Played by Leslie Nielson) stands in front of a Presidential portrait of Harrison Ford (Presumably a reference to Air Force One)
In the new Captain America: Brave New World trailer, the President is played by Harrison Ford, and he stands in front of a Presidential portrait of Leslie Nielson
Scary Movie 3 is canon to the MCU, they're prequels
wasn't that just photoshop. The original trailer is just a blurry background of an old guy.
Yeah there's no way marvel would do that.
Yet that wouldn't save that garbage movie from the box office failure
@@mahmudurrahman8377 What? Brave New World doesn't come out until next year. We don't know it's garbage and it hasn't failed in the box office.
Simone’s reaction to Tabitha near the end is EXACTLY how I’ve felt all these years. I feel that the Ring “parody” part was actually A LOT scarier than the filmmakers intended it to be. Mainly because Tabitha is a lot darker and more corpse looking than Samara from the Ring.
Wayans humour: Weed jokes. More weed jokes.
Zucker humour: Getting hit in the head. Getting hit by a car.
Clearly Zucker is superior.
The Wayans brothers, including Keenan Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans, were not involved in the third Scary Movie film, released in 2002, because Dimension Films announced the film without them on November 22, 2002. Marlon Wayans has said that The Weinstein Company "snatched" the franchise and that he and his brothers didn't find out they wouldn't be involved until Christmas. Harvey Weinstein didn't like the Wayans and forced them out of their own franchise. The Wayans later went on and did A Haunted House(2013).
You have no idea how many times I've quoted " Tom, I'll need a ride home". Ahahahahahaha
None?
@@longtallshorty5791 Absolute zero. Hahhh
There were 2 Matrix movie references. The one with George Carlin was referencing Matrix Reloaded. Of course, the Oracle one was from the first Matrix.
Leslie Nielson was a Canadian national treasure--from Forbidden Planet right through his renaissance in the Airplane films.
He was only in the first Airplane! film. He wasn't in the second except in footage from the first used for a flashback.
@@Steve_P_B Fair play-- I didn't bother to check. I'm sure he got paid for the second one though
Anna Farris going blonde is my favorite part of 3 😍
3 definitely needed more Regina Hall. Brenda is the best part of the Scary Movies. She returns for 4.
Man, Anna Ferris looked fkn good in that scene after the rap battle.
Suggestion: watch "The Village" before Scary Movie 4, otherwise you won't be able to take it seriously afterwards, and it would be a waste of a beautiful movie.
The Village is very under-appreciated. The big ensemble cast is fantastic, the score is great. Such an engrossing tale. It would be a real shame for them to miss out on giving it a proper viewing.
It also would make the SM4 scenes more funny. I watched it with 2 friends, one, who saw The Village, and one, who didn't. There's the reveal scene, and two of us were laughing, felling down from the sofa, and the other guy, who didn't saw "The Village" didn't get it at all. xD
Also The Grudge
ill need a ride home was just the perfect bit for that scene
Simone as George in the thumbnail is freaking hilarious... 😂😂😂
That sheriffs hat getting bigger and bigger in every scene is one of my favourite scenes ever :D
I was walking down the main Club Strip in Ibiza (San Antonio) with a friend when he started singing George's Rap at the top of his voice.
I was both impressed and Mortified at the same time 😂
I love the paradox arguments in this movie 🤣 and that “YAHTZEE!” Moment kills me 🤣
YESSS, IT HAPPENED!!
I NOW UPHOLD THE LAW OF 4! THE FOURTH MUST BE WATCHED!!
"In the bulls*** department. A businessman can't hold a candle to a clergyman." George Carlin.
Carlin, the original redditor
“Pootie tang” one of my favorite old comedies! LOVE IT! This is great too. 22:53 the amount of rap/hip hop legends in this is wild!
And is also a Chris Rock movie, they said Louis CK. I can't remember if he was involved with that movie it's been a while but I love it to death
BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF. Criminally underrated film
Yes the "twins!" was part of a Coors Light commercial.
I think... it's a lot of people's favorite Scary Movie if those people prefer stuff a bit less lewd and less risky.
The first two, written by The Wayans Brothers, pull no punches... they're R rated and want you to know.
This one went pg-13, got rid of the Wayans, and tried to take an approach closer to Airplane.
I think it's pretty funny... but I kinda hate it as a Scary Movie movie.
i wouldnt say Lots, the first 2 are classic for a reason
18:57 "You are inexorably seeking a sedulant probability."
When I first saw this scene, it compelled me to check google, just out of curiosity. First, it asks if I mean "sedulous," and then it gives me a few sources that define _that_ term. Then it offers "sedulant" translation into _Polish._ Then there are a few sources that quote that very sentence in _this_ movie. Then it offers "sedulant" translation into _German._
How wild is this? They made that word up for this movie.
Watching the fight with the Ring girl made me think of RAW not that long ago... Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss recreated that fight mid match
😂😂 YESS! I remember that! Bianca DID do one HELL of a spot-on Regina Hall wind-up punch, didn't she?? Lmao..
@chrisbell9075 was really excellent, people complained about it without knowing it was a reference... I felt sorry for those people
@@paulshaw9953 I hear you, brother. Lol. It's only a huge pop culture reference. Damn Millennials.. 🤣🤣😉
"And Twins" was a lite beer ad, and the TV room is from one of the matrix movies.
The scene that makes this movie for me every time is when Anthony Anderson "cocks" the shovel and shotgun shells fly out. It's been 21 years and I still laugh out loud every time.
"I have a dream" and "Whatchu gonna brush now!" have been said in our house ever since we seen this. 🤣
The whole "woke up dead" philosophical discussion is funnier than it should be.
As is Tom's brother whipping the gallon-sized paint can up against the bicyclist while they are shooting paint balls at people.
“Tom I’ll need a ride home”
the fight between Brenda and the girl from the tv was recreated in the WWE by Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair
One of the funny hidden things in this movie is that some of the aliens were voiced by Tom Kenny, who plays Ice King, Wheelie, The mayor from Powerpuff Girls, and SpongeBob
Since you made it to scary movie 3 you should check out scary movie 4 and not another teen movie !
You’re allowed one F-bomb in a movie, you better be giving it to Regina Hall. Her delivery is second to none
Dirt Nasty is actually the rapper in your Hangover reaction at 9:45.
This is the one where the Wayans brothers aren’t involved because Dimension Films stole Scary Movie from them and to this day have not paid them
It’s sick, but it cracks me up when Cody gets hit and propelled out by the ceiling fan.
8 mile is definitely worth a reaction... Eminem's acting is surprisingly vulnerable and poignant, and it's clear that he has a lot of talent outside of being one of- if not THE- greatest rapper ever. Detroit almost plays a character in itself. And the battles (especially toward the end) are more inspiring and visceral and climactic than most of the "final showdowns" in all the sports/boxing/superhero films you'll see... any type of movie that involves "battles" with real stakes. It carries real weight and it'll give you chills. I can almost guarantee you will soon see a huge uptick in requests for that reaction. HIGHLY recommended!!!
Here's hoping the Patreon folks push for 8 Mile.
Unpopular opinion, but this is actually the funniest one for me
I think it's a pretty popular opinion, myself included
Did you just completely miss the part where they mentioned that this is everyone's favorite?
Pump action shovel always gets me lol
I swear, when she hits Cody with the car… 😂
I love the first two movies, but this one was still really darn hysterical! (I didn’t care for 4, and 5 is a legit guilty pleasure movie of mine.)
I love both the next two movies and 5 has my favorite joke of the whole franchise.
"And twins" was an old Coors Light commercial in the 90's
Some of my favorite parts:
In the beginning with the two girls (Pam Anderson and Jenny McCarthy). I couldn't tell in the YT edit, but she says have you seen that tape? And the other girl starts describing Pamela Anderson's sex tape. It always cracks me up.
Then when George ever so gently tells the girl her teacher died. Oh mah gawd he put so much energy into it and their screams lol.
The teleprompter scene. The newscaster actor nailed it.
Yahtzee!
Of course the Alien footage with them just walking by casually with the other disturbing stuff on screen.
And then when Charlie sheen is saying stuff and George is bringing what he said to him and hitting him in the nuts gets me everytime.
Just like Pootie Tang!
So lot of people will say the next two aren't great, but i like them. I say check them out and decide for yourselves as always. They talk like it's as bad as "Epic/Date/Disaster/Superhero Movie" but they are nowhere as bad as those movies. Disaster Movie is absolutely unwatchable to me and i have a high tolerance for terrible movies (thanks MST3K!). Part 5 has my favorite joke of the whole franchise. I've seen people watch the fifth one thinking they were gonna hate it because everyone told them it sucks. And you know what, you could tell from the moment they hit play they already hated it and didn't give it a chance. So go in with an open mind if you do decide to go on with the series.
Rumor has it there is a part 6 in the works. A poster i saw that i believe was official looked like it would mainly do Midsommar.
This is absolutely my favorite in the franchise. They did such a great job going PG-13. The writing is just the perfect level of stupid.
I still randomly quote George telling Sue her teacher is dead scene. So well done.
Thank you Simone and George.
Needed something to smile about tonight, and you always deliver.
I think Cindy (Anna Farris) and Brenda (Regina Hall) are both still in Scary Movie 4. Would love to see you react to that at some point.
Eminem’s movie is pretty good by the way, seeing as you both haven’t seen it. It’s called 8 Mile.
Love to you both. Hope you’re fully recovered from your surgery, George. Smart to let you heal before laughing so hard at a movie 😂
Love to you both ❤
Scary Movie 1 & 2 only fans here 👻
When George apparently doesn't get the "Shaka When The Walls Fell" reference, my Trekkie heart died a little. 💔
Easily one of the top 3 best TNG episodes. Mirab, his sails unfold!
I'm surprised that you heard that lots of people said this was their favorite, for years I heard the opposite saying that the 1st and 2nd ones were the best and after that they sucked. Personally, I really enjoyed Scary Movie 3 and 4. They were stupid dumb humor but still funny.
"Cindy....The TVs leaking" is something I still think about at least once a week hahahaha
That jump-scare of the well girl being behind Cindy when she bends over right up there with what is considered one of the best jump-scares in a film.
Which is in the actual Ring movie. When the lead is in the old house and the only light is the sweeping light from the lighthouse. And on one of the sweeps, you suddenly see the man in the doorway behind her.....
its okay Simone I saw this in theaters and more than half of the theater still got scared at those parts too.
The “and twins” part was a reference to a Coors Light commercial, back in the day. The twins that swiveled around on their chairs in that scene were known as the Coors Light Twins (Diane and Elaine Klimaszewski).
8 mile is a must see imo. Classic film
Definitely my favorite in the series and probably the most quotable. 😂
12:54 Stunt Trivia: This is my favorite gag in the movie. I love that they do it twice. But did you know it has a name? It's called a Texas Switch. In most movies, they don't want you to notice it, so the stuntman falls out of camera and the actor them every camera from close up, giving the illusion that they landed and took a second to sort themselves out. Turns out, to make it hilarious, all you have to do is shoot it from a wider angle and cut the time between actions to almost nothing. I love it so much.
You definitely need to listen to a few Dirt Nasty songs. He's pretty funny.
Oh, Anna Farris… she’s so awesome… This one was pretty funny.
*(8-Mile) & (Malibu's Most Wanted)*
You should definitely watch 8 Mile. It's a great movie in its own right. Knowledge or even appreciation of rap is not a prerequisite for enjoying the story and performances.
"I found their weakness without their heads they're powerless" one of my favorite lines, frequently use it in videogames.
The George Carlin scene references the Matrix Revolutions (part 3), where Neo meats the architect.
The whole George Carlin scene is also from The Matrix.
This movie is where David Zucker and Pat Proft (who made several movies of this kind including the Airplane! Movies and the Naked Gun movies) took over from the Wayans brothers and it shows, especially in the cast which includes Leslie Nielsen and Charlie Sheen. In this the cast is rounded out by absolute stars including Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Eddie Griffin, George Carlin, Queen Latifah, and Tim Stack
Speaking of that actor who had more scenes written for him because his character was so popular during test screenings, I had something like that happen to me. A western was going to be filmed at Old Tucson Studios and they had a casting call for a cowboy role. While I was in line waiting to audition, I noticed the guy running lines with the potentials was just reading them straight off the paper. When it got to me, my acting caused him to come alive as if he was actually an active part of the scene. Later that day, the casting director asked me to come back in the next day. He told me, "Unfortunately, we can't have a Chinese cowboy for this part, but I showed the director the tape of your audition and he loved it so much that he wrote in a small role for you." On set there was a rickshaw. In several key scenes where the stars were acting, they would have me pull the rickshaw as a background extra. He made sure I would be highly visible at times when people like Robert Patrick, Frankie Muniz, and John Ashton were in the scene. That was a fun experience.
If you think Dirt Nasty is a weird rapper name, wait until you hear about former Wu-Tang Clan member Russell Tyrone Jones, better known as *Ol' Dirty Bastard*
The funeral scene reminded me of Death at a Funeral, which was a British comedy from about fifteen years ago and remade a few years later with a predominantly African American cast. Peter Dinklage plays the same role in both movies. Both are hilarious. I highly recommend either/both.
I think I was 20yrs old when I had a Dirt Nasty album. Quite a few songs featured Beardo.
"Tom, I'll need a ride home - Now!" would have been even better.
Love you guys for experiencing this with us. I recommend Village and The Grudge (that one in general since is one of my favourites and Simone was adorable in The Ring video) if you plan to watch 4.
I liked 4 better than 3 personally. The Grudge parody was perfect
Pamela , the other blonde and denise.❤ wow what a cast
Oh my stomach hurts from laughing! You guys are too much! My peeps for sure.
My favorite one in the series. Probably cuz it’s the first one I saw and it’s full of jokes that hit hard for a 7 year old boy 😂😂😂😂😂
Y''all should watch the second and third Matrix movies! I believe you missed the Matrix 2 reference!
Best one in the franchise! Also, the scene with Charlie Sheen and the old oil lamp is from the movie "The Others"
Also the guys that Kevin Hart brought were pretty well known rappers like Method Man and Redman
Them actually paying off the Air Force One picture behind Leslie Nielsen next February is a baller long-game gag!!!!!
The second one is my favorite.
Now who the fu*k did that???!?
Exactly what I needed to wind down after a rough night at work, thank you two for all the great uploads! 🙏🙏
