Hello, thank you guys for the love so far! Just want to clear up a couple things: 1. I did use a B1 for my Henry model, but this by no means makes him one. More details in the description. 2. I do see the resemblance to Trampy Movies in here after rewatching. I do enjoy his work and am definitely inspired by him, but I do hope that it’s not seen as copying him and no one takes it too personally. Hope that clears the air a bit 🤙
Another great episode! Clever how you used a Thompson B1 for old shape Henry, which really fits as a ready-to-run model and custom. Also I like the little foreshadow to Sad Story of Henry before the credits roll. Plus, I like the reference to both C. Reginald Dalby and William Middleton (aka the ones who butchered Henry up beyond Awdry's wishes). Looking forward to Gordon's episode.
Isn't this a wonderful surprise? Just watched your first episode of this today and here I am greeted with this. This series certainly is promising. With quality fan made content like this with a more mature tone it's no wonder TTTE can still appeal to older fans. It certainly keeps me interested. Truly the fanbase keeps the fire lit. There's quite a few things out there with fictional talking trains but the Railway Series/ early TTTE episodes are more artful in their approach to incorporating things people can picture happening in real life especially when some real events inspired the stories. It's much easier to connect Thomas characters to real engines given the roles they play be it Gordon with his express in a similar vein to the real A1s and A3s or an engine like James doing mixed traffic work etc
This waz awesome. I loved it and been watching your videos from my other channel and its amazing work. Keep up the great work, keep it up. Channel like theses are what motivate me to create my channel. Great work.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! well worth the wait, I’m so excited for what’s next to come. This series is fantastic and bound to be a memorable one. Keep up the great work!
Idea for a Custom: you could move the dome back on the boiler towards the cab, then remove the piping on the side of the cab to match the tvs properly, fill in the indents on the buffer beam, and change the style of the cab + a copper chimney
I really like the use of a B1 for Henry 1 and thought of using one for a kitbashing base if I ever made a model of him myself I never liked the 4-6-2 base, as I felt it made him physically too similar to Gordon and doesn't visually indicate his feelings of inadequacy. IK the fans say don't take the Dalby illustrations literally, but considering how 90% of the illustrations of Henry show him to be a ten-wheeler, I think a good argument can be made that the original was one So while I do subscribe to the idea of the stolen gresley blueprints, I think that a poor misunderstanding could have led to him not being built with the correct wheel arrangement (which would only contribute to the steaming issues he had as he would have needed a smaller Firefox to actually fit)
@@paulleow8017 My thoughts exactly, that was almost my exact thought process. My additional justification is that he was never stated to be a Pacific, Just a flawed design, and I prefer the 4-6-0 arrangement in the dalby illustrations of the Three Railway Engines. I chose the B1 because I think it looks like basically a Mini-Black 5, making the rebuild process a little easier to believe.
I mean, a b1 henry is a good choice because the railway series, he was an a1 in a 4-6-2. The b1 Thompson design would've be better mixed with the Atlantic's firebox. He would've been mixed between a b1 and a c1
Great episode say just a question when henry have his rebuild will it be a hornby black 5 or the bachman henry and gordon will you use a hornby A1/A3 for gordon with a group standerd tender and rebuild into a A3 or the bachman gordon becuse i think the hornby black 5 and the hornby A1/A3 fits them better becuse there bigger in terms for hight and becuse there big engines becuse the bachman gordon and henry are too small and the same size as edward and thomas yet was in the show but its feeling and the hornby black 5 and A1/A3 fixes that issue becuse they're bigger plus makes more sence for your henry MK1 model and adds more creativity but hey its your own choice still great video 10/10
@@goodbabushkafarm1481 The Hornby black 5 will be used for Henry post Crewe, that was always the intention cause I think it would look weird if I used the less detailed Bachmann Henry. For Gordon he’ll be a Hornby A1. His A3 rebuild will not be covered in SBTL though, I got a plan for that.
A Bachmann B1 with a Bachmann Henry tender. Though I’m by no means claiming that Henry is a B1, he’s never stated to be one in the video. He’s a flawed Gresley design still thrown together by a theif, just not a pacific.

The engine is wrong this model is a lner b1 built between 1942 and 52 so they wouldn't exist in 1922 I would suggest getting another engine one day and redoing this it is just too eye catching

Dude idc this is amazing
Trampy changed Thomas content forever
Your just one of the people that adapted to it
nothing wrong
"I WANTED A ATLANTIC AND THAT _____ _____ _____ SENT ME THAT!" Gets me Very Time
I still don’t understand what was said lol
Henry: WHAT THE F*CK?!?!
“I wanted a Atlantic and that fuck son of a bitch sent me that.”

But since it said 1922 a whole 20 years before the class it is inauthentic
honestly that’s the class I imagine 98462 being.
@@karenfan010 they were built in 1942 to 52

What a great and funny story about Henry! I'm loving this series! ❤
This is my first time watching this and I absoloutely adore it it reminds me so much of trampy from the writing to even the voices
Huuge Trampy vibes from this and I love it! Jerk Henry is PEAK Henry.

This is probably the most unique take on Old Shape Henry.
Episode 3 will be epic.
Name suggestion, The Big Blue Boaster.
This series is great! I love your take on these well trodden stories. I'm excited to see what the next episode brings.
In short, Gordon is coming
Oh, great, more Thomas bullies. 😒
Your Henry looks great.

Very funny and a great story
Very good episode man I'm excited to see episode 3 but definitely take your time with it. Good things come to those who wait
These are some good H.O. scale trains 😮
I cant wait for the 3rd episode!!!!!!!
Great stuff, mate
This feels heavily inspired by Trampy's stuff, with how everyone's speaking in a more realistic, sarcastic manner.
This is amazing 🎉

Using a real LNER B17 and switch to his bachmann tender is smart

What model did u use to make Henry?

B1 Henry honestly goes kinda hard
But time to be an asshole cuz the B1s were first built in 1942, 20 years after this story supposedly takes place
@@Hacksworth_Sidings I’m not claiming that Henry is a B1. He is a one off flawed design by Gresley that was thrown together by the thief.

Which engine is Henry’s base on that was used for the video?
Thompson B1 (4-6-0) for the sole purpose of making Henry becoming a Black 5 (4-6-0) actually make sense
Why is Herny a Thompson B1 if those were first built in 1942?
