There is so much to love about this. The artist and his story, the masterful paintings, and even the lighting and cinematography. Everything about this led to a smile on my face and an optimism in my heart.
What a lovely, inspiring video. I love Will's openness, honesty and integrity, not to mention his absolute passion. Thank you for the best 25 minutes of my week (well, so far!).
Thankyou to all involved for making this wonderful film. Loved every minute of it. Will Rochfort comes across as a gorgeous human being. I appreciated his transparency, vulnerability, devotion to his arts practice and most of all, giving us inspiration.
Thank you. I found Will's advice at the end so motivational. I still can't get over the amount of preparation that goes into each painting. Mind blowing! Thank you.
I've been mesmerised by Will's work since I first discovered him through a Michael Harding painting reel. I love his sensibility, his subject matter and HIS PROCESS.
This was one of the most interesting interviews I’ve ever watched. So inspiring and I love how you don’t shy away from showing the WHOLE process. So many artists don’t show their initial works, so seeing this has helped me to realise that it is just a starting point and not to expect miracles with them, these can come later. Absolutely beautiful work. I will Make it Happen. Thank you for this wonderful interview. So glad I came across your Instagram which led me to this. I’m excited at the prospect of following my passion for art. Brushes on order :) Thank you
Really interesting video and well constructed (but probably a little too long). Will Rochfort comes across as a really nice bloke and I'm a huge fan of this period of cinema, the style of the 1950's artwork, Norman Rockwell etc. but the one question I have is why transfer what are stunning photomontages to painting? I found myself in deep admiration of his artistic vision and the skilled technique, but in the same way as I'd admire a piece of jewellery or a delicious meal - this is not a criticism but a genuine response to the video.
"I built a lift. I hired a cadillac. I hired a theatre and built a pirate ship." While he's doing that, I lie in wait for retailers to put their canvasses on sale to get, like, a pound or two off.
Whats it feel like to be touched by God? What he does involuntarily most struggle and suffer for. Im impressed. Or perhaps he was touched by the ghost of Norman Rockwell!
Will has such a rich, profound, and creative universe. What an amazing artist and inspiration! Thanks for sharing all your insights and knowledge!
What a treat - thank you to Will Rochfort, the filmmakers & Jackson’s, what an lovely film..

Smasher 👌🏾
A new favorite artist! I wonder what “sets” he could create if he used one of the gaming engines, like Unreal Engine.
What made u move away from watercolour? Is it the speed?
I would pay for the t-shirt.
Interested in how it was done.
Ahh i found you on UA-cam!!
I studied English for about 19 years and don't understand it yet
