Yes! That is definitely a more straightforward path. Unfortunately, not everyone can make it to top law schools and/or get good grades. But that doesn't mean they can't be successful. There's no one right path to success. It's important to first define what success means to you and work hard with what you got to be the success that you want to be.
@@marco4568 I would not go that far. Having a brand name school repeats toon is great if you want to go into big law. But for anything else look at the cost and employment data released by the Bar of the school.
Also, for lawyers in lower paying legal professions like environmental lawyer’s some schools in the lower rankings have great programs for that specialty.
Imho, cost and employment data is what is most important, under most circumstances.

I would disagree with the idea that one doesn't need to know what kind of law they want to practice. One may not have to know with precision and exactitude what law they want to practice, but they do have to have a brief idea of what they want to practice.
