Latif, my brother. I'm not kidding, being a white british dude I have SO much respect to you. The food you bring to this country is beyond amazing, the culture I got to watch in this vid was AMAZING, the things I learn from you have helped me turn some of my foods into DIVINE recipes.
I am one LUCKY mofo that you/your family decided to come to the UK and bring such awesomeness. Not only do you grace this country with just being here and choosing the UK to think "think place is awesome" but you make it even better with your presence, your food and your want to help us Brits bring better food to our tables.
So much love for you and your family sir. Thanks for literally teaching me how to cook some great food, I'm an ex chef (very briefly!) but omg you schooled my ass in your foods. THANK YOU
Wow wow wow. Thank you so much for your comments. I’m truly motivated even more. God bless you
I'm pretty sure I started following you just before or around the beginning of covid. Your great. I remember when you went back to your family's house. Thank you for sharing your heritage.
Thank you for the support
Your Chefs have a lot of talent and one can see they enjoy cooking good food.
Enjoying the 'on tour' videos. Nice work Latif!
Thank you
That soup looks 🔥. Jealous. Love the colors and the busy city in the background. Thank you for sharing.
Nice
Your enthusiasm is wonderful to watch - I am totally in awe of the skills & the passion the chefs have & the portion sizes are amazing 😮-can’t wait to see more 🤗
Thank you.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu dearest brother Latif. A mouth watering journey, masha'Allah. Glad you went to Bangladesh with tickets that were cheap, alhamdulillah. Looking forward to more of your videos. Enjoy!
Wa Alaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatullah. Thank you
Everything looks amazing! Vibrant food in a vibrant city. All cooked with love!
Wonderful
Brother Latif, you’re a food critic! 😂😂 I got the feeling that your cooking is a little better!? 👍🏻🥰🇬🇧
And more hygienic 😮
I think he’s a pretty good analyst.
Yes, he really doesn’t know how to describe the food he is eating. Needs to expand his vocabulary
I’m just learning
@@LatifsInspired 😂👨🏽🍳
...amazing food adventures as always...would love to see your take on savory energizing desserts that can be enjoyed in-between lunch and dinners... 😀
Yes that’s my plan
Nihari is my favourite curry. So delicious. That one looked great!
Love these on tour experiences, fascinating and informative as well as mouth watering🤤😂
Thank you
21.37 hurry up! i'm starving!!
YOU are the people we want and need in this country! you bring culture and hope!
Thank you. I’m trying my best to understand Bangladeshi food and culture myself
Now I'm really hungry. Going out for some Carne Asada con mole de Oaxaca.
Pure heavenly food.
Delicious
I just had dinner but am feeling hungry again watching this 😂
Lol
Whole day of eating, bro I hope u hit the gym after that.
Most definitely
@ 17:50, very generous with the sauces.
Another epic video. This is so educational. I kinda wish you could have met up with Keith Floyd - sadly now departed - he would have loved your style and this cooking. / I love food (believe me), but I must admit no way could have have coped with your day food wise (and I LOVE curry and related foods). I do not tend to eat breakfast or lunch, but really eat in the evening (I know - the wrong way around). So could not have coped with your breakfast, despite it looking so nice. And then you have LUNCH! Love it and looked so good, but I would have been finished for the day! Overall that lunch look fabulous, then you moved on to DINNER !! / I think (like me!) you were looking for something lighter for dinner lol (looked nice for sure). Overall - amazing, looking forward to the next video. Mark.
Dream
Hope to get over to Latifs some time soon.
Soon o
Saalam bro. Great video of Dhaka. Food looked great but did the hygene or their cooking environments concern you at all? Cheers
Wa Alaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatullah Yes most definitely however they make due with the means they have. They wash as much as possible! There are many places with really high standards however I’m trying to learn and understand the culture of Bangladesh and the food! When you go up a level they seem to adopt western ideology in the food and to me that is not authentic! Unique yes
Your vlog certainly brings back childhood memories of when I was out there but I don't recall Dhaka much, only Sylhet. Looking forward to your next video. Take care bro
@@LatifsInspired They could sweep up the cigarette ends at the very least. Soap and water are not expensive, that place was filthy.
9:15 Small rice grain for biryani is a first to me... I always thought that the nawabs used the finest of long grain basmati rice. Now you have dry aged 1121XL basmati.
As Salaam mualaiykum brother I'm so craving the chicken and heart shaped bread ooo so yummy ❤❤
Wa alaikum assalam wa Rahmatullah amazing huh
a mouth-watering tour I wish you could organize such a tour and take all of us and all your suitors, I'm so jealous😂
One day
This is a great idea! A true 'cook's tour' of Dhaka. I think many westerners stick to hotel and tourist food not because they are not adventurous, but because they are intimidated by the cuisine. A day or a week with Latif as a food guide would be once in a lifetime amazing!
Those fresh naans are making my mouth water. Literally.
Amazing
I prefer this to your BIR videos. Thank you.
That an amazing motivation
You make so hungry, take me with you haha. Great content as always.
Come with me virtually
I'm about to have an aneurysm. I can't cope watching others relish in the gifts from heaven.
Oh dear 😅
Great video, i could see you doing this on tv, i would watch.
One day
Well done bro for drinking special tea “ in a coffee mug really represents tea 🤣
Nice yummy
Looks tasty for sure.
Thank you
Brother, are you still here in Uttara, Dhaka? If yes, then I would like to invite you to my home for lunch or dinner, what ever you prefer. I live at Uttara and l have been watching your videos for a long time. Glad to see you in Dhaka. Would really appreciate if you accept my invitation. Thanks!
Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah. Wow this is amazing I wish you sent me a message before as I’m in sylhet now. Please message me on Instagram as I’m looking to come back to Dhaka again. I want to make more vlogs. Thank you once again
Khoob bhalo food tour.
Thanks for the support. Hope you have liked it
Nice one bro
incredible
Amazing
Bangladeshi Style - The cooks cookbook. When?
Soon
👌Yum, I am inspired to now travel more, and thank you for sharing your personal eats with us. My only query to you is, where do the females eat? I see it is predominantly male.
i"ll stick to my eggs, bacon and mushrooms thanks lol, looks very nice
Lol, I just want to show you guys this amazing experience
Great experience really enjoyed the video keep them comming@@LatifsInspired
My man eating good
Waiter dude stuck uo two fingers at us😃
Nihari looks a little water down small nan
Yes, it should have been slow cooked for longer
Nice one brother . Have you got your luggage??
Yes thank you
Allahamdhulliah
👍👍👍🇬🇧🙏
nice thick sauce thats watery as feck
👍
Do you get called British or English in Bangladesh, chef?
British
Chef killed it by putting kitchen up 🤦♂️…. you should have advised tomato purée… that’s what used to be put in.
Bro no disrespect, but you will feel much cooler,if you wear a light colour shirt in a sunny country.
Will try
I have never seen sugar in biriyani.
It’s a bit different but very flavourful
Bari bay jaitay nani ? 😢
Inshaa Allah
I would like to serve more healthy Indian food, not sure which part of India has best? Is there vegan, pescitarian Muslims?
You seem almost a little nervous especially at the first restaurant, as if you didnt quite feel welcome?
It’s getting use to the country and the people
@@LatifsInspired Yeah, I understand that, id love to go there too.
Where the women and children?
There are millions in Bangladesh
Where are all the women? Do Restaurants not serve women?
Hey, I’ve seen more more men working then women in Bangladesh so the men tend to eat out more however women come out in the evening.
The family demographic in Bangladesh is the men go out to work to provide and the women tend to look after the family and the home.
Very traditional society. From my observation!
@@LatifsInspired Thanks Latif.
I seen your videos and you always a bit negative about the food in Bangladesh mentioning it needs something or it's not that special etc, I have tried some of your methods to cook curry and it ain't all that mate, I don't use your methods as the food is rubbish.
Please if your gona review places in different country be more positive and stop going off your the best cos I ain't never heard of your restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
Definitely fake amount of subscriptions
I have grown this channel organically however this is something I’m doing totally different as this is something I want to do rather than cooking all the time. I want to learn my heritage and show you the food and culture of my cuisine. This may not be good for UA-cam algorithm however I feel passionately so I’m making these vlogs for myself to share with my viewers. I hope you are liking them.
@@LatifsInspired And I think that is admirable, you do you.I will be watching your journey,as I am to old to go to places like Bangladesh,so this is how I learn ,thank you.
What a strange, and stupid comment.
I'd have a difficult time eating there, lots of cross-contamination, no hand washing, etc., cleaniness doesn't seem to hold any importance. I'm guessing there is no health or sanitation regulations for restaurants there.
