You steal the riches to distract the guards. Once everyone from Dalaran is trying to stop Squad A from stealing the loot (clearly that's why you're here!), Squads B to E will have a much easier job!
Also, because the treasures in Dalaran aren't just gold. There's lots of powerful artifacts that can become useful tools against the Kirin Tor.

@@Renewablefrog1224 Yeah that's what I thought initially. During this part, you are "guided" by Togwaggle, who is known to be greedy and selfish. My guess was that while all the other (rather serious) villians are trying to capture Dalaran, Togwaggle is just trying to secure himself some gold.

I played the first wing last night and it's really fun, i love the mechanics, the old ones and the new.
Fun? Honestly thats shit all u got is same what u had last year but now you have to pay for it and if u are nor spending Real money you cant even get zyle and anomaly mode... So fun

Queen Togwaggle's hero power doesn't always pull lowest cost first, it pulled a scavenging hyena from my deck before pulling a springpaw and an alleycat, that being said, it still seems to have a heavy bias toward low costs first since I had 4 prof putricides in my deck... Yes those were in fact the highest cost minions in my deck,

Was playing last night with shaman, I had the perks of when a minion died I gained 2 armor and restore 2 health to all friendly chars end of turn. Genuinely op in defensive capabilities. I gathered 3 yesera +5/+5 spell popped them on to the charge windfury divine shield taunt minion for 40+ damage. Following turn electra plus the orb that deals 20 damage.

It definitely is, but the legendary weapons weren't really better than normal ones except for Woecleaver (possibly Aluneth as well, depending on whether drawing 9 extra cards and burning some of them is a good thing).
this in my opinion is easily some of the best pve content in the game i hope they add to it later

Great video, I just feel torn. The same price as the old solo adventures with a fraction of the rewards. Or so it seems by the description. As if I hadn't gambled enough on the packs I also have to pay for the solo adventure with only 1 card. I really want to enjoy the story but I just can't spend more this expansion. Sorry for the negativity :(

This chapter was much easier than previous solo adventure content. Beat it first try but I guess thats because its chapter 1. I suppose being able to consistently win instead of being screwed by buckets every time is a good thing. Love the inclusion of bartender Bob!
When I played against Wagtoggle, she never drew kingsbane but would still play out her weapon buff minions. It was the easiest boss fight.

Picked the passive to randomise the cost of my cards and then used the spell which replaces your deck with copies of a minion to fill my deck with 20+ yseras. This adventure is quite fun so far
if you think the death knight hero power passive is OP, Mage has a treasure that makes it cost 1 and lets you use it twice in one turn
You get the anomaly mode right at the start if you pre-purchase the entire wing/run? It'd be nice if there was an option to buy that with just in-game gold.

I was pretty proud doing first level and chapter on a 100% winrate. Mage and cursed hands were great starts. Big boys and spells for late game. Last boss it was down to 5hp each and taking lots of draw damage with the 0/3 mage weapon. Won by 1 turn. 😅
Thanks for making this. The tournament was so wishy-washy and jumped around too much to pay attention to new content. I just wanna watch one guy doin' his thing the whole way through.
On my first run of this mode(using Rakanishu because money eludes me) I managed to make a rapid fire mage deck and won. It was cool.

Fosso I see this solo adventure as a way for the headstone team so show off their fun and creative idea while they provide us with hours of fun and extra goodies on top of that. I can easily sink around 10-15 hours into this so I feel that the 20 bucks is worth it. Even if I didn’t save up the gold for a month now I would’ve spent the 20 bucks. It’s not for everyone but it’s for the people who want to experience more of this creative and unique side of hearthstone

@@biblemanlover4520 This is probably true. The final boss in One Night in Karazhan was fairly easy. On heroic it's a shit show and half rng if its possible for you to win with how good the AI trades

I actually beat Chapter 1 on my first try with shaman. Last boss got cheesed so hard.
Since it's still new and many people haven't seen all the bosses yet, I'll just say "Coins"
Fuck that boss, on my first run I got the treasure that cuts card cost but you can only play 2 cards per turn and that dude just milled all my deck :(
Remember when adventures like this used to give us the entire expansion? Now we're expected to buy the expansion in packs AND pay for the single player content separately. Rafaam has definitely taught Blizzard a thing or two about stealing...
They just took the naxxramas aproach and got us every wing seperate.

On chapter 2 I got the "draw 3 per turn, no fatigue" passive, and the "shuffle 2 1 mana copies of minions you play into your deck"... ultimate value generation, shame it mostly consisted of fire elementals

I got lucky first time, took Prince's Ring and Stargazing, ended up with Horseman hero-power on the two final bosses. Wagtoggle was especially dissapointing with how slow she is, meaning I OTKed her turn 3.

Just sharing something I have been playing mtg arena for almost 2 years now, and love it, but this is what I miss about HS the pve that was my fav feature. The rest meh, hopefully they will add pve in mtg.

It's weird, Wagtoggle was (secretly) designed to only bribe the cheapest minion in the deck. I don't get why they didn't just mention that in the hero power.

They took away adventures because pack expansions bring in more money, but they introduced FREE single player content along the pack expansions. Now they decided to charge the same amount for this single player content as they used to for the adventures. The difference is we only get a few packs from this while we were guaranteed the whole set from adventures... fuck bli$$ard

I finished a run 8/8 with the mage guy. Man it was tough, I had 1 life and the guy stole the first card I played. Thank God that nether portal from the quest reward saved me (got it from the card that gives you the reward). And the thief kobold kept stealing thing back and forth. How to beat the op boss? Use his own cards hahahaha

So I got minions cost half but you can only play two cards a turn then I got you draw an extra two cards per turn and are immune to fatigue. I won.

Brought back Paid expansions. Removed the loot incentives to beat it. I didn't like paying for Black Rock Mountain, but at least you got some good cards for beating it....this just looks like a Blizzard money grab.

I 1 shot both parts, first part i had 20 Wonder-cards for that awesome randomness and second run i had a bomb that when drawn did 50 dmg to enemy hero, EZ :P
I two-shotted them both. One run is full YOLO I just wanna see the bosses/voicelines/interactions. Second run is 700 IQ plays time.

Is this some kind of a joke? I've already purchased the expansion for a ridiculous amount of money. This was the final straw. Blizzard has gotten WAY too greedy. I'm done with Hearthstone until they lower the price of everything in this freaking game.
