It’s very important to stick to your principles.
I just realized that this exanpsion the bosses do not have a gain armor and draw cards spell.
I think a couple do, I believe I've seen the tree boss use the draw 3 gain 8 armor.
The bosses don't have any OP cards, generally speaking. I think this was to get around the fact that it's pretty easy to steal cards from your opponent these days, making the runs too easy.
Either that, or for flavor reasons. They aren't really raid bosses, just regular dudes defending their city.
I'm guessing the upcoming expansions will turn things around and let us use the Dalaran characters, so it would make more sense when we don't possess those OP cards then.
@@justinz9225 the raid bosses will probably be the henchmen on the storyline when heroes try to recover the city since blizzard stated this year's sp content and expansions have a narrative.

That Grommash had someone ring his ears with bells long enough that he no longer needs to be hurt to show just how angry he is.
I had this exact combination and thought "holy heck, that'll carry me to the last boss if I can stand the sound!"
Guess which spell the 7th boss (shadow priest tauren) 'randomly' mind probed out of my deck within two turns and used against me.

That tauren is a nightmare
Not only the deck, but the Hero power (wich turns into a passive for heroic mode) was so frustrating to against that the developers ended up nerfing it after a couple of weeks from -2 atk to enemy minions to -1 atk to enemy minions
Potion of Vitality + Exlir of Vile (Spells for health) on warlock let me play Rin the first disciple turn 9, then kill her, spend 25 hp , and immediately destroy the opponents deck. Also it was generally a good treasure combo for allowing me to play big board clears as you mentioned to sustain me until I could pull off hyper-rin.
I like how the pros are so good that they can do insane things to make things interesting even on heroic

I like trump videos but man, there is never a music list. It hurts, its always good stuff but I cant find half the music half the time. I have to have it!
The intro music is the boss battle theme from final fantasy mystic quest. You're right by the way, I wish the editor included the names of the tracks he uses.

Did something pretty similar to clear act 5 heroic - first run, my anomaly was spell cost minus 2 - so immediately went paladin, and the Sound the Bells starter. However, I got no support for bells in the buckets, and ultimately lost on about boss 8 or 9 due to barely seeing the card in the run.
Two runs later I got the anomaly again, went the same paladin build again, and had an easy time. Ended up getting 5 Sound the Bells in the run (including the starter) *and* the Swampqueen's Call treasure (also 0 cost echo with the anomaly), and actually chose the often-wasteful permastealth passive in order to ensure I'd have minions out to buff with the Bells. Interestingly, even managed to get through the Nozdormu-passive boss with the deck; it wasn't a OTK like every other boss, but it turns out a few ~20/30 permastealth minions are very tough to deal with!
I can not believe you plugged Lufia 2 music. Battle #3 triggers so much nostalgia and I love you so much more now.
Lufia 2 was the best point of the series. The GBA titles were ok but nothing lived up to the SNES

I had zero cost Sound the Bells, infinite copies, infinite time. I thought; "sweet, I'm gonna see how big a minion can grow." Eh yeah, after 30 casts, it was "Ah screw this."
Sidenote: Prepare for your stomach to fall out your ass if the AI Mana Binds your 0 cost Sound the Bells.
2nd Sidenote: Even the AI gets bored pumping up a minion.
That's now I beat Kadgar, I got super lucky and drew the 0 cost bells turn one.
I managed to beat khadgar by having the ring of legendaries in my opening hand (passive: spells cost health), did you know its really easy to keep a board clean when you start the game with 5 4/12's
i got super lucky because i had that ring in my starting hand for the 3 archmages.
I beat khadgar with some sort of big warlock,and a lot of twisting nether/aoe removals
The music choice for these videos has been top tier. I recognized both SMRPG on a previous vid and Lufia on this vid.

I'm not sure if this is correct but from what i've seen scepter of summoning and togwaggle dice actually interact in a weird way
let's say you have tirion fordring who costs 8 mana
scepter of summoning would cause him to cost 5 mana meaning the cost would go down by 3
togwaggle dice gives the card a random cost ranging from 0-10
but the cost reduction from scepter still applies meaning that tirion could only go up to 7 mana because if he rolled 10 it would go down by 3
i also think that you have a higher chance of rolling a lower cost because the cost range would go from -3 to 7 and since -3 doesn't exist you get like 4 rolls that all equal to 0
because of this, higher cost minions actually have a WAY higher chance to get low costs
like the 11 cost ysera would always end up with a 6 cost reduction to her roll meaning that she can only go up to 4 mana and most of the time she would be even lower
but a 1 cost minion like the selfless hero can still go from 0-10 because there is no cost reduction applied
Edit: i'm using this video as a reference, trump's mana costs seem to follow what i've said here, but he may have just been the luckiest person in the world

Light of the Naaru already does not trigger even if you attack since all healing is doubled so you heal for 6. If he attacked the boss will be exactly 6 health down so after the heal she would not be damaged and it would not trigger. Probably didn't matter much but misplay.
Why is the sound the bells 0 cost
I had 0 cost sound the bells and master scheme with the advice ball. It decided to recast scheme and I burned sound the bells. Last boss got a lucky win :(

3:35 why did that heal for 2 when the divine shield was on ? It did zero dmg therefore the total healing (lifesteal) done should be only 1 and not 2
The hero power of that boss doubles all healing - including the healing of Lifesteal.

The sad thing about Nozari's interaction about himself is that its not for himself, its for minons with the dragon tag. if you play a dragon (thus trigging the voiceline), then he will not say anything in response to himself being played.

@@RealityMasterRogue what what ive seen, the scythe is very strong but just like other treasures you dont draw it when you could use it, from my experience its "oh the scythe thats good *picks it* *proceeds to never draw it in 6 matches*"

Can't seem to clear wing 5 of this adventure, so I keep watching these hoping to gain some insight how the better HS players do it. I usually manage just fine for the first 8 bosses, but then it starts curving up like crazy. Most of the time I can clear up to the 10th or 11th boss, but they usually just kick my ass. Haven't even reached the final boss yet, that's how bad I suck at this. Most of the time I seem to lose because their mana advantage in the early game gives them a huge bonus that I have a very hard time catching up to. If I can catch up, I can usually pull the game back to my favor but sometimes catching up proves... difficult. Sometimes even downright impossible, depending on what boss I'm facing, my deck and my draws.
if the AI got ahold of a 0 mana cost card with echo would they play it infinitely or just cast it enough to kill you :thinking:
