Hi Robin super easy to follow and great presentation. One question when I do this my closet colour does not cover the one I am covering. So if I cover a brown with yellow then the brown is still visible . Raw file, Opacity , flow and hardness all 100% and tolerance 20%. The weird thing is dark brown on green works fine. Any ideas😊
I'm obviously doing something wrong here. whilst the brush is replacing the colour it is patchy and takes a lot of mouse movement to eventually cover the underlying colour.. and flow is set to 100%.. help!
I'm sorry, but without seeing the image and what you're doing I'm just guessing. Try varying the Tolerance setting and using the Contigious options in the toolbar to see if they produce a different result.
@@RobinWhalley thanks for getting back .i did leave a message on affinity forum and a reply said to use HSL and leave S and L sliders alone. I can't try anything just now but will look at it again. still appreciate you YT video regardlessr
not clue what I'm doing worn but it doesn't work. I need to replace a gray with a light blue. I'm following yoru indications that are really well explained. But it doesn't replace anything. no matter the clicks, where etc. I do hope Serfic will turn into something more intuitive 😕 DOVREBBE essere possibile per l'home edition la non attivazione se non è abilitato via UEFI. Ma chi ha PRO?
I thought I had mentioned this in the video. The Colour Replacement brush only works when replacing a colour. If you use it on grey, black or white, it has no effect. If you want to change grey, you need to use the HSL tools. This video should help you ua-cam.com/video/qTOuflGSgK4/v-deo.html,
Thank you Robin. I didn't know this feature was there and I will certainly use it in the future. Just one small point. It's colour! We are English not American
@@RobinWhalley I'm English too.. the world didn't end... 👍.. though i do get surprised when our US cousins say sodder for solder. I doubt their Army folk are sodders too ..but soldiers. Still it is not the end of the world 😊
@@RobinWhalley I'm the same. I don't have the color swatch in the bar on the left and it's not in the View, Custom tools. I do have Swatches in the upper right with Histogram, Color, Swatches adnb Brushes.

Robin, this channel is pure gold - thanks so much for doing what you do!

Thanks. I checked and I have used the UK spelling of the word colour in all my text. What are you looking at that's different?
Hi Robin. Thank you for your reply. It's in the subtitles several times. Look at 0.48 time. @@RobinWhalley
The subtitles are automatically generated by UA-cam. They only have US English. It’s annoying.
