I ordered some blue magic flock for rhinestone templates. WONDERFUL! It is foolproof. I also ordered some rhinestones and they actually stick to whatever you apply them to. The glue is so much better on these stones. Thank you for making creating so much easier. Now we're having fun!
Just saw the Magic Flock demo-ed at the ISS Show in Forth Worth. Great group of people and an absolutely great, well thought out product. As a mom and pop, I appreciate how much time they took with me to explain where I could cut costs until I built up a new line for my business. Really excited to enable to introduce something I had shied away from before to my customers. Jumping' sweet cheeks, I am placing my order right now.
Sticky flock is a old material that is not made anymore. It had some issues cutting so Magic Flock was developed. Here is the link to the magic flock: www.therhinestoneworld.com/Magic-Flock-Roll--12-W-x-5-Yd-L-w-December-2019-Font_p_18073.html
My circles don't seem to be cutting all the way though. I have an expert ll, I did a double cut in the wizard software 110 force and 40 speed. Only about 20 cut all the way though. What can I change to cut like yours?
Each machine has it's own calibration, so do test cuts to dial those cut specs in. Some users like the magnet sheet setting, others prefer bonded fabric and we tend to either go with a custom setting of 350 pressure, single cut OR 250 pressure and double cut. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching! -TRW Pilar
I'm new to Rhinestones and I've been watching several of your How To videos to get me started. My first project was a bust. When brushing in the stones, they would not fill in. Why would this happen, holes not big enough? Maybe depth of the sticky template material not just right? Used a sticky flock (thick) and a template vinyl (thin). Very discouraging. Thanks in advance.
Hello! I have just a couple questions to try to figure out what the problem is. Was the flock material cut all the way through? What size of stones were you using and what is your stone size in your software? What did you mean by a template vinyl? We hope to hear from you soon. - TRW RIchard.
I am new to rhinestones. When you added the second flock layer on top of the first....why cant you see the underneath layer through the holes on the top layer? Was the second layer stuck to another blank sheet of magic flock? I hope this makes sense. thanks, Kerry
oh, my silly! Thanks. Somehow I expected that the some of the first layer holes would be visible but clearly they are in different places in the design! Rookie error! Thanks!!
Hi there! Great channel and nice video!! I tried using card stock and vinyl to create a rhinestone stencil. The stones had a hard time bruahing into the stencil especially getting past stones that were brushed in the stencil. It usually gets like 1/4 filled when I make this attempt. I dont have a special brush. Its a craft painter's sponge on stick that I used. I am trying to figure out if I did finally buy flock (fromnThe rhinestone world), would it do so much better even with my "brush"? Thanks in advance! ❤
Magic Flock makes it much easier to create proper rhinestone templates. You might not even need a brush! Some of us (me included) prefer to use our fingers. -TRW Bri
I've never tried a layered design and my magic flock is so sticky, after you layered it, does the flock pull back off of each other for future use, or is it best to put each piece on its own backing board?
Hey there! I typically recommend the Cameo 4 over the Cricut for cutting rhinestone templates! We sell the blue Magic Flock Template Material on our website, therhinestoneworld.com. I will link it below for your convenience! www.therhinestoneworld.com/Magic-Flock-by-the-Foot-12_p_2004.html - TRW Haley
I love it, wish I was living in your country because I would buy so much of it! I have to check the shipping costs to Europe. Does it still have the rubbery backing?
You can submit a custom design request if you would like for us to cut a template for you and you would have to brush your stones into the template! TRW Alexis
Can you make a tutorial using the cameo 4 with the settings ? Please ! I tried and it only worked on half my project the other half it ripped the magic flock 😏☹️
We do not have a specific video on the Cameo 4 cut settings, but we do have this awesome cut setting guide that will help! www.therhinestoneworld.com/cut-settings -TRW Abby
Hello. New to the rhinestone world. Would this work for cricut air explore 2. Also once I make a template is it reusable? I want to order. Just not sure what I should order. Thanks
Rhinestone templates cause a lot of issues in Design Space. I recommend you try to simplify your designs as much as possible before trying to do anything with rhinestones. We have craft designs on our website that are Cricut-friendly as well that don't require any simplifying. For the cut setting, set your Cricut to Fabric to cut Magic Flock. Templates are reusable as long as you take care of them. ua-cam.com/video/6PhsEOG0mTY/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/NK_2TgDVnHA/v-deo.html www.therhinestoneworld.com/craft-svg-designs -TRW Bri

Tondra, Yes you can cut this material with a Cricut. The settings should be similar to the pink sticky flock we sell. Recommended cut settings - therhinestoneworld.com/go/?to=Cutting_Specs_and_Recommended_Cut_Settings TRW Casey

How do you store the cut templates for future uses?
Popular right now is the use of 3-ring binders and either sturdy page protectors or dollar store cutting mats.

Hello! Kerry, I am able to see that second layer, as the spaces inside the holes appear blue. - TRW Richard

Hey what is the thickness of the flock(in mm)?
It is .65mm with the backing and .45mm without. Hope this is helpful. -TRW Tanyu
What about cutting with a Cricut?
When cutting magic clock on a Cricut put the machine on the fabric setting.
-TRW Abby
I love it, wish I was living in your country because I would buy so much of it! I have to check the shipping costs to Europe. Does it still have the rubbery backing?
The backing is still pretty much the same, it's mainly the thickness and appearance that have changed.
