I loved this song, this type of game (Rpg Maker) was part of my childhood, mainly Ib and The Witch's House. It was a pleasure to hear a piano version played by a human being (unlike the "Synthesia" of many years ago, on UA-cam)
I see it more as a friendship relationship, like Gary treats her like the grandpa or uncle that she never had. Reason why I say this is Gary is older than Ib. Way older. Ib is around 6 (that's what I remember cause i barely remember it) and Gary is around adulthood or close to it.
