I actually filmed this video around two weeks ago but have been super busy so haven't really had time to edit it.
I get a lot of questions on my Instagram (chloeltownsend) about cabin crew and decided to ask my followers to send me cabin crew related questions. I wasn't really expecting many questions as I always do Q&A's but looks like maybe new followers have questions to ask etc! I've answered these questions honestly and to the best of my ability but I quite literally have THE worlds worst memory!

I think it would be cool to see like what’s in my cabin crew bag or makeup bag also your suggestions too like what you said in the beginning of the video about get ready with me would be amazing to watch as it would be interesting on what products you use for hair and makeup for cabin crew xx

Had my assessment day for Gatwick crew yesterday and just found out this afternoon that I was successful! I’ll be training by next spring hopefully!

Is exchange rates and giving passengers change tricky? I’m terrible at anything to do with maths & numbers so I worry about messing up and getting embarrassed x
Evie Grace Hi hun! I can’t speak for every airline but with mine, you don’t have to convert exchange rates! On shorthaul it’s Card only payment and on longhaul if they want to pay in dollars you press “dollars” as payment method and it converts it for you! Hope this puts your mind at ease! (I’m pants at maths!) x

I work on a steam railway passengers can be challenging gala days can be challenging santa specials can be as well I had a medical emergency on the santa train it wasn't a passenger it was a colleague it scared me yes but I kept my cool when everybody was losing theirs she collapsed with heat exhaustion I gave her basic first aid called an ambulance to meet us when we got to the next station it matured me big time and not take anything for granted sorry if this is long winded
hey! i love the vid! regarding swimming most airlines require you to swim 25 metres, is this expected to be done in a certain time frame? xx
Hi! 25 metres isn’t as long as it sounds but I guess you could take your time if need be! The swimming tests are always super fun and laid back!

Also, do you feel that your job is glamorous given a bed for tired cabin crews in the aircraft, free 5-star hotel stays, generous cash given per diem when you’re traveling to a city, exploring work destinations, etc. or there are some unglamorous things you experience being a flight attendant?
