Wonderful demonstration and instructions on making these. I also like the smaller sizes made so people can use them and take the one that they used with them. great wrapping ideas as well. Love the lighting fixtures in your home and the color green.Namaste
I love how you put everything in this video. Recipe, results & packaging. I wish all videos could be so simple and great like this one. Thank you for sharing it.
Kevin I totally love your solid lotion bars and perfume bars! They are so awesome! I love the candy wrapped one, they look like salt water taffy! You are so creative! Love it! Bye for now, Lori
Hi Kevin. I love watching ur videos. U explain things is simple and easy to understand way. I want to request if u can explain how to make solid shampoo bars. Thanks
Kevin I love your videos. LOVE them. Can you tell me where you got the little boxes that you used with the black and white paper and rose on top? Wish you were my neighbor.
Thanks for your video on solid perfume bars. I really enjoyed it and appreciate the time and research you put in before you make these. Could you tell me where you sourced your solid perfume "lip balm" type cylinders. I'm having difficulty finding them, I live in Canada so sourcing some of the materials is difficult. Thanks again.
I used Melt And Pour self-made Embeds for the first time to make a Full Moon soap and I guess I totally misjudged where to put them in the soap. So, let's just say that I renamed it the Hidden Moon! Lol! Do you do many hidden embeds in the soap? How do you measure it in an Essential Depot silicone mold. I thought I did a good job but, apparently not!! Is it better to just make one large embed instead of piece by piece embeds? Do these questions make sense? lol! BTW: You are a total inspiration!
+The Herbal Fairy (Lisa) I don't do many embeds but have done some in the past. My wire cutter cuts 1" bars so I put marks on the silicone mold of where the wires will cut so I know where to place the embeds. One large embed the runs the entire length of the mold is certainly going to guarantee the embed ends up in each individual bar, but depending on what you are doing can be much harder to make. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you very much for the information. It reminds me of a flower I made with my Grandma when I was little girl, which was a while ago :). So a very good memory.
My lotion bars which I made two days ago are bit soft. How do I make them to solid. Remelting with additional beeswax will rectify. Please help me to solve this problem.
Can you please tell me where you purchase your beeswax. There are so many on Amazon with very mixed reviews especially when it comes to strong smoky odor of the wax. Thank you
+Corena Garoutte The difference is that solid lotion bars tend to be firmer (usually through the inclusion of more hard butters and or waxes) than lip balms. Solid lotion bars really need the warmth of your hands to help melt them so it can be spread on the skin, lip balms tend to be much softer and can be spread with just a little pressure and no warmth is needed to melt them against the skin. Hope that helps.
Keep on "rambling" we all love your videos. Thanks for another great video.
+Karen Conine haha, thanks!

+Kitty Whiteway Majestic Mountain Sage has large "lip balm tubes", but only in white. I believe they ship to Canada.
+Kitty Whiteway Hey Kitty, check the description box of the part II video, I have links there.

the lonks are in the 'show more' section of part 2
Awesome thanks.
Can you whip this for whipped body butter or is that a different thing? Thanks!
+Decopainterandtea Different thing, but sort of related.
I'm wondering where you found your pink flower, and if you can attach a link. Thank you
It's from Michael's...I believe it's from the Recollections line.

Yes, you certainly could add more beeswax to try to firm things up. You might also explore adding other waxes, like candellia wax, which is very hard.
Can you please tell me where you purchase your beeswax. There are so many on Amazon with very mixed reviews especially when it comes to strong smoky odor of the wax. Thank you
Brambleberry.
What would the difference between this and a lip balm recipe ?
+Corena Garoutte The difference is that solid lotion bars tend to be firmer (usually through the inclusion of more hard butters and or waxes) than lip balms. Nice
