Have never seen this series in person, so I really enjoyed your video. Like you said 45. Is a little much for one but you got a good deal on black friday. The Hollywood Hair was a good choice, and the hair turned out wonderful. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
So interesting to see Christie redressed. I only recently learned of the additional Hollywood hair fashions and immediately thought of redressing a glitter hair Christie. Thanks for the fun video!
Yes! I’m sure you can find them on sale if you shop around. I believe target has some online. I really like the rewind doll called sophisticated style. Very fun and 80s. I will most likely get her next
Such a good idea. I think I’m going to try to recreate the Great shape PJ that never came out but was seen on the gym set that was sold for great shape Barbie
She came out beautiful. Is it mean to say I don't know why but her long skinny arms reminded me of the movie Aliens I really don't like articulated barbie bodies. She is beautiful.
Yall may wanna check both Ross and citi trends because I seen the Kira sculpt from this wave at my local Citi Trends for $14.99 some people found these at Ross for $9.99
Mattel's labels mean nothing honestly I think they even stop using that system... I had no idea there were many series of the rewind dolls the graphic on the shirt of the Christie is like a recoloring of Poochie (Mattel's failed attempt to copy Hello Kitty during the 80's) these 80's vibe Barbies in my opinion are much better than the extras and should've been what Mattel sold in retail shelves if they wanted to compete with OMG and LOL back then... They're more true to the brand while still being current but nostalgic at she same time... Barbie extra will pass to the infamy hall of horrors... XDDDD
They do list the label color on Mattel Creations product page. I just don't understand why they don't include the label color on the certificate of authenticity. And yes, I totally agree! This line would have made a great playline release priced at $20 or $25! Kids would enjoy this just as much as collectors and gen x parents would love getting them for their kids
WOOOW! She looks stunning after the makeover ❤
ty gio 💕
She is much more beautiful! Love the hair!

I just brought her from Walmart for $10.88.

She would make a great hollywood hair christie! Her style of hair matches the hollywood hair line perfectly!
I loved all my Whitney dolls and the long hair on my Jewel Secret.
Hollywood Hair Christie, yeeeah man!!! 🤩
Manny so good ! I wasn't aware that these rewind dolls were released ! I wasn't even familiar with them ! I am looking for one of each !

Absolutely amazing makeover !!!!!
I love watching your videos! You are wonderful! The dolls are beautiful too! Greetings from Russia, from a guy who collects vintage Barbies!)
Thanks for watching! So happy you're enjoying my videos :)
What is collecting vintage Barbie like in Russia?
@@somelikeitvntg Same as in America)
Loved the display!

That would be cool! Did she have the same outfit as barbie?
@@somelikeitvntg No. She has a purple and pink leotard with some different color leg warmers but they sold that as a fashion pack so it’s easy to find
Fun video, how many "Barbies" do you have in your collection now?
Oh I have no idea. I should do an official count.
This is such a cute makeover! Ive been looking for the prom one but its so hard to find her in my country
Thank you! I wish mattel creations was accessible for everyone :(

haha! no that's not mean. I agree, I wish her arms had more shape to them. They look strange when you campare it with the rest of her body.
OKKKKK I love what you did with her! So great 🩷⭐️
ty Mick 💖!

I was born In 1993
Odd that they put gel in her hair. None of my Looks dolls who have curly hair have any product and the curls look nice.
I've never gottena looks doll, but I wish they used less product in her hair.
