I love your approach to doll collecting. I too live in a small space, and I love pretty things so I have to be careful in how I pick and choose my belongings. I recently started collecting vintage Barbie reproductions and so far I only have 2 because I simply don’t have the space for more while maintaining a tidy collection aesthetic like yours. In the meantime I’m collecting vintage/ vintage repro fashions so I have options when it comes to displaying my 2 dolls without feeling bored and also for space saving and budget issues. Hopefully as my ability to spend grows, so will my collection. In the meantime, I’m happy with my 2 beautiful Barbies. 😌

I found Diva from Barbie and the Rockers (the one with the bangs not the blue eye shadow) for 2.99 at a flea market as well as a twist and turn original for 2.99. They were in separate plastic bags with mommy made barbie clothes. I felt like I won the lottery that day.

Wonderfull job and beautiful colection. Talking barbie and TNT Mod are my favourite Barbie face molds. Maybe that hair pieces are from Hair Fair Barbie, it was an extra only head with hair pieces you could buy. There was the blonde d and brunnete versions. I gotta confess, I got a sweet tooth for skipper, really love her.

Can you tell me where the little barbie chair and end table that you displayed in your glass door cabinet is from - sorry if you mentioned it in another video! I love your displays :)

Your original Ken doll is the thin browed one - Mattel made a few different flocked Ken dolls between 1961 -1962. The very first Ken was the flocked hair thick browed doll.

Your TNT doll's hair was probably originally the "Summer Sand" hair color, and was probably marked "Ash Blonde" on the box. The fanciful color names weren't used on the actual packaging.

I like your videos. FYI: That is a "Living Skipper" doll head on a "Twist-N-Turn" Skipper doll body. "Sausage Curl" Skipper, as you call it, has the full bangs across the forehead. "Living Skipper" has just a spit curl at the part on the forehead. As does your doll.

That first Barbie is a Sand, Sand blond or summer sand blond.

Are you gonna keep the sausage curl skipper now that she's all cleaned up? She looks so cute, especially together with her big sis.

You don’t really need to reroot the lashes Manny you can just pull them back into place with tweezers they get pushed back but they’re still perfect you just need to pull them out of the head a bit, not fully.

Meh. I appreciate the work behind them, but they do nothing for me.

When it comes to The Suburban Shopper, i had to pause the video to check which bag i had . It turns out that i have the differently woven bag, which i presume is the later version. The shoes i have are the original pronged shoes, but i prefer not to use those because the look and feel like glass. They make me too nervous. i pretty much have everything but the necklace. When it comes to the necklace, i think i would prefer a reproduction as well. Or, at the very least, one created by a freelance artist. You know what? i have often wondered what the telephone was for. Barbie is supposed to be shopping, right? What does she need with a rotary phone?? 😆

It was Nav himself who mentioned the Señorita Lili Ledy (Leh-dee) inspiration to me many years ago, Señorita Lili Ledy used the Tressy sculpt under License for Mexico Loooove the Fan fan and the outfit was an amazing recreation from the source material! The scale and the pattern are spot on! 💖
