Great video the point is Nobody can ever tell the value of a banknote until a particular person comes ready to pay the price. It sometimes becomes more hassle than good profit
With the old paper notes the replacement note would have the same serial number but they would add a star to the prefix. All new polymer notes just get destroyed but not replaced with the same number.
@@PJsCoinCapers Hi PJ. Just found your channel on YT, great info yet your reply regarding star notes is not quiet true. Star notes ran a separate prefix series mainly starting with Z. The serial was 5 digits long starting at 00001 ending with the star. Only confirmed main printing errors were replaced with accounting precision of the star notes. Cheers.
Hi PJ, I’m the 1st prize winner of your last giveaway. I have sent you an email with my postal address and have still not received the New Zealand Coins. I understand people have busy lives and you may not have had a chance to send them yet, or you may not have received my email. Could you tell me whether this is the case, or whether you have sent them and it’s just Australia Post that’s taking a while?
Sorry to type this... but it's true, SO lucky are we Westerners that one can toss $20 notes aside looking at numbers while others starve & know that just one of those notes could feed their whole family for a week. (no offence to the channel, just been watching a few documentaries lately)
Hi Peter,I have seen your this vdo, and this vdo is so good for me, I was and am hunting $5,$10,$50 and $100 notes from very long time. I never thought of $20hunting, your this vdo woke me and from the last one month I had seven set of 1st and last prefix. Today my question is that Are the DB notes good to keep or not. As DB is the first prefix of the second series of the year?
The reason the old fifty is still kicking around is because of the spelling mistake in the micro printing. The new fifty is being pulled out of circulation. I haven't seen a new fifty for a while now
HafzaProductions 2019 same here mate 2 coins all the way i have some good ones the one i really want its an all black 2 coin its worth about 5 hundred if not more but so hard to get

It's a waste if they end up destroying the old notes. Wonder if they'll bring out a new $100 next
Yes they will
The old notes will never be a waste it will stay as full face value to bearer from RBA indefinitely
Its just paper.
Wouldn't destroying the old notes make them all alot more rare?
yes that's why we need to take the opportunity to find them before they are gone.
nice
There is no way money makers mess up.
Unless deliberately

Lmao at 5:44
the new 50 dollar nad 20 dollar note looks ugly canadian money looks a lot cooler not the new 10 dollar vertical note but the 2010 series is better
