I'm definitely not a fan of this "trend" of eating bugs lately...lol, even Koyori made it a batsu game for herself the other day too. I hope Mio hasn't raised any flags...

I understand Mio's feelings, and I respect yours.
However, Nagano Prefecture has a food culture that eats grasshoppers, and people who are now about 60 to 70 years old and grew up in the countryside of Japan eat bee larvae instead of candy. Well, Japan is a country where people eat raw fish, cows, and chickens even horses deer whale.
I don't really like insect food and no need to get popularity or being meme. But You know Japan is quite hentai in all directions.

If people want to do it for views (or fun?), then I wouldn't stop them. However, expecting streamers to participate in the trend is absurd. Even most normal food is pretty disgusting to me, and I usually have to mute or skip parts of streams where people are eating food. I certainly wouldn't want to watch people, or pressure anyone into, eating deliberately gross stuff.
I hope people like Mio not giving in to the pressure to participate will make more room for others to decline to do things like this if they don't want to.

Honestly? I wouldn't go that far to say it... In this specific case, at least. Ao is a bit... "eccentric", let's say that way. Don't want to go and straight up call last two gens(JP one and EN) lunatics, as it might offend their fans, and that's not what I intend to do...
