Queenie YT i kinda have the same problem.. I always used to think my hair was 4c hair, but I started to do some research. Now I would say my hair is in the 4a range, but at the Nape of my hair it’s more 3b. You just have to do your research and look at other people with the curl pattern your researching. Some people may be wrong about their curl pattern, but you should look at the majority of people to claim to have that curl pattern and see what the majority’s hair looks like.

it could be because of porosity or density. because not everyone has the exact same hair y'know.
