I felt that too. Makes me remember people that walked out of my life. Yet, I give thanks to God as it exposed things in them, and allowed me to seek the presence of the Holy Spirit how to be a friend to others. Sometimes, its people's departures that make your faith stronger in Christ.

My discernment was at an all time low a few months ago and listen, the enemy brought a manipulative clown (who I truly felt sorry for) and an immature counterfeit (who I fell in love with) [who distracted me from what’s important] right into my life and I labeled them Wheat 🌾 when they were truly weeds according to the purpose God had and has for my life.
Lord, please heighten my discernment in people, things, and locations.

Biblical friends;
1. Loose - they won't resurrect wat God is trying to have you keep buried
2. Love - love is better than romance; some people you have romantic feelings for won't even lay their life down for you (John 15.13)
3. Sharpen - things in yo life get sharper coz of their presence
4. Sacrifice - are they willing to be inconvenienced for you?
5. Confront - they talk TO you when they have an issue with you,they don't talk ABWT you
6. Carry - (Galatians 6.2)
7. Cover - they will never use yo flaw as ammunition

I sat down with God last night and we discussed a “friend” that invited me out to a party, God told me it was a hard NO. Why because she wasn’t a friend and I’m not even into parties anymore, then I woke up to this confirmation. Thank you Pastor Flowers 🌸 🙏🏾
So interesting. I got invites from friends years ago to attend events and God kept telling me no. They loved the past and saying where they were as I was moving forward and trusting God for people in my life who actually valued Godly conversations vs just hangouts.
When God tells us instructions, it's great when we choose obedience for the matter. It's life changing.
You can tell this sermon had a bunch of Holy Spirit conviction, the audience barely applauded but this was 120% on POINT!! Preach!!!

Jerry Flowers, I just want to say thank you and your wife for obeying Yahweh. You have been a strategic part of my healing. I was in ministry for 25 years and in 2017 I crashed. I rebelled against my LORD for 5 years. The father came and got me out of the pigpen 8 months ago. Again I’m just grateful for your ministry.

I love this pastor doesn't just say the things people's itching ears want to hear. He speaks the truth.
