I luv my nectar. I purchased the mattress topper and base also. Very convertible. No problem moving around. I don't feel stuck and my wife never notices when I do move around, which is a big plus!
The guys know that the nectar mattress is on your bed the wrong way the logo supposed to be at the foot 😂 lol... I really truly love you guys review videos of these amazing mattress. I just recently bought and received yesterday the Cocoon Chill by Sealy which I just can't wait to sleep on once my bed frame gets here!!!
About the amount of breaking-in. I've heard more than once that you should walk (yes, stand up & walk) on memory foam mattresses for a couple of days before sleeping on it. Supposedly, it speeds the breaking-in process by forcing the cells in memory foam to open. When I first heard this, I thought it was a joke... but maybe not.
I love my Nectar. The only think that bugs me is they offer a sale at 125.00 off. To me sales are for a limited time only. You filmed this last year. I just got my bed last week . I also got 125.00 off. So to me saying it's a sale is wrong if that's how they always offer it. And it's not free pillows they all come with pillows. But I do love the mattress
Still waiting for my Nectar =/ it has been a week and still hasn't been shipped. I really need this bed as soon as possible, I wish they were discounts on their sheets or something.

I would advise two points of caution for the Nectar. First, while there is a large appeal to a Forever warranty, what is covered in the fine print is really important to check. The industry standard for a memory foam mattress warranty covers any sags or indents over .75", but the Nectar's is 1.5" - twice as much! Imagine the amount of back pain a sleeper could be until the sag or indent becomes that deep and how long it would take. By that point, the damage's source is usually considered wear and tear, which isn't covered under the warranty. Very few people who purchase the Nectar will actually have what they consider a valid claim. The major selling points for the mattress are the price and the length of the trial period. Second, I caution against those who are over 150lbs and with a curvy figure. Nectar was the very first online mattress I tried. The mattress wasn't a good fit for me. I'm not in the 250lbs+ category, but my weight is very concentrated for someone 5'2" and I'm very curvy. As a side sleeper, this meant my hips and shoulders sank through the Nectar's top comfort layers. Although most people consider it to be a plusher mattress, it felt exceptionally firm to me. It's designed for the average sleeper, so if your body is "average", it may not be the best fit.

We love the Puffy for sure, and that's our current favorite. The Novosbed is right up there too! the Nectar is great, and it's in a lower price range which is nice. I have chronic back problems so that is a big tell tale for me. The Nectar was too stiff for the first few weeks, but then it got better. The Puffy felt like it was going to be too stiff, but my back loved it from day one! The Novosbed needed the topper to be comfortable, but once we got that I loved it. In the end I'm sure you would be happy with any of the mattresses :)
Love your videos! They have really helped me narrow down my mattress choices. I'm trying to decide Nectar and the Novosbed Medium. I think I am leaning towards the Novosbed because it is 5 lb memory foam vs 3.5 lb from Nectar. I'm guessing it may be more durable. I also like the Comfort + option. On the other hand the Nectar is a great price. Rebecca, I sound similar to you in that I am a side sleeper with lower back issues. If you had to choose one of these mattresses for comfort, as well as good spinal alignment, which one would it be? Do you find you have more pressure points with one over the other? Do they both sleep about the same temperature? Thanks for your help!
I didn't notice a temp difference. The mattresses feel so similar, you're right about the price though, and Nectar is having a sale right now too! Nectar is like a less expensive Dupe for the Novosbed. As far as longevity, I'm not sure. I have no idea if the mattresses will break down at a different rate :/
Just placed my mattress at 6:23p tonight and 20 minutes later it looks like it is almost to full shape. The shipping bag should have handles and the inside bag should be a little thicker. The smell is not to bad, but definitely noticeable. It still has a way to go and I know it could take a few days. They changed the position in the bag so you do not have to flip it and the zipper on the bag runs longer so it is easier to remove. I will sleep on it at around 11:30p. Hopeful that 5 hours is good for tonight. I'm hopeful the 5 week wait was worth it. More Later.

We ended up giving that one to Colin's brother and he LOVES it :) (We are currently sleeping on the 700 tiny mattresses from Sleep Ovation.)
Did you end up keeping the Nectar? I just bought one and am finding the first few days a bit tough and firm. I’m glad I watched this review to know it gets better.
We kept it until we got our next mattress for review and then we gave it to Colin's brother who loves it. It does get better! Give it a couple of weeks ;)
Where did you buy the platform bed frame that you used for the nectar mattress I really liked how you could still sit on the edge without being on the mattress?
Ordered a nectar and they do not ship in 24 hours like they advertise. We have been waiting for over a week now and they are hard to get ahold of. The bed may be nice if/when you get it. Super disappointed with their service.
How are you guys I got the nectar mattress and I had the same feeling as you guys this is my third day on it when I first slept on it I woke up very sore my back was very sore it felt like I was sleeping on the floor and I was thinking about exchanging and getting novosbed soft model but I saw your review that you said that the mattress breaks in so I'm going to wait and try that see if it gets better.
+Hellmuth Silva yes, it took me about 3 weeks to really get used to it, and they make you wait 30 days for the topper :/ once we got the topper I was used to the bed, but the topper was like icing on the cake! Of all the mattresses we've tried the novosbed is still my favorite:) in fact when we switched to the Eight mattress (which is much softer) I liked it at first, but after awhile my back started hurting so we went back to the Novosbed.
Absolutely! The Eve mattress is another inexpensive one and would be fine for a guest room, but I personally think the Nectar is a far superior mattress.
How long did it take for you to recieve the mattress? most people are saying that the customer service is horrible and that the have been waiting at least a month and still do not have their mattress. also they claim that nectar keeps switching the dates of shipment. im a little worried. because i ordered one myself. id really like to get this mattress. and dont really mind waiting a month if need be. but they should be up front with their customers. great video, thanks for sharing.

I love the eight, but I swear my back has been hurting since we switched back... could just be all the switching around. Colin's brother said the Nectar mattress was like sleeping on a rock for 2 days and then he got used to it and now he says he falls asleep easily and sleeps through the night, and now he loves the mattress :)
So in the end, do you like the feel of the eight better or the nectar? I'd also like to know if it feels like you are coming out of a hole when you moved around in the nectar mattress. Also, for special " activies ", is the nectar ok? Thanks
+Bob B the Eight feels more like a traditional mattress. After switching back to it, I miss the nectar :( we gave it to Colin's brother so I think we'll switch back to the Novosbed which reminds me a lot of the Nectar. I think that firm memory foam is better for my back. Because it's firm you don't get that sinking into a hole thing. It has a plush topper, but that is regular foam so again, no sinking into a hole :)

it took a couple of weeks. They did reschedule once, but it wasn't that long.

I think they were swamped with orders. We ordered ours in April 2028 and it came in a few days. Sooner than I expected, actually!
