Milo Céane if you ever play Pokémon x/y you'll see that this video is based in two characters from the game. So it is costumes, as the girls are cosplaying them.
I have played Pokémon x/y, but I don't remember characters looking like these ladies! Which ones are they?
Also, when I was into cosplay we used to make everything and not just pick things from our wardrobe, so I would have called this "character inspired outfit" and not cosplay, but maybe the definition of cosplay has changed since?
Milo Céane the Mysterious Sisters, maybe you weren't paying that much attention. Google them and you'll see the outfits match exactly. If you wear this ordinairly, I'm just sorry, but THAT'S a cosplay.
Felipe Jost Clavé Our channel comes from a Japanese fashion background. We chose these characters because we knew that using just our wardrobes, we already had everything to make a matching coordinate for each character's costume. So while these are costumes in the video to cosplay specific characters, when we wear these clothes out daily it's just fashion.

Magdalena Mostek It's usually only 4, but some of them accidently have 5 (dub error? Idk). Ash had to delete volt tackle to learn electro ball for example :u (sorryimbeinganerd)

Everything looks perfect, except for acting
I keep coming back to this video like once a year. It’s really a yearly thing now, I don’t know what it is about it but I just find this video really cool.
I can see what people are saying about the acting feeling forced but they have to remember acting takes a lot of time to master and working with creatures that arent even really there is even harder. The camera. , lighting and costumes were on point and although the pokemon seem a bit stiff (sylveon could use a bit more movement) the chi looks really neat design wise snd the attack effects were nicely, overall it was enjoyable to watch and i'd love to see more!

The costumes, setting and animation were all amazing! Visually, this video looked really stunning. Unfortunately, the acting was a bit stilted - the lines were delivered a bit awkwardly, and the actors kind of just stood there and seemed very static, especially the Fairy Tale Girl, even as she was supposed to be worried about Sylveon. The audio also wasn't great at some points - I'd suggest working on your audio setup in the future.
Regardless, it was a very nice, well-made video and was a pleasure to watch!

just so people realize....this isn't following game mechanics, if you ever seen the anime it isn't logical when typing is compared....you've seen the situations trainers gotten into, and came out of. Also, those of you being salty about Chandlure not winning, well it depends on the trainer, and their strengths, and how their pokes where raised. In truth the power of your poke, animated wise, and game wise is all about how you raise via anime, and your IVs via game, meaning your pokes is only as weak as you are. Those also being salty about the acting, welp you try, and get it right when doing this. I'd feel awkward doing this randomly, and filming lol.
It isn't a big deal and I don't care to get into a long argument about it, but if this was going purely by the anime logic, it's a little funny that they're using game-exclusive characters. :P

I think the reason behind Chandelure's loss is because the general audience knows Sylveon more. Also, if the Sylveon trainer is the protagonist, that means she suffers with Ash Syndrome, also knows as plot armor.
As someone who thinks that Chandelure is mega-based, I'm disappointed.
people don't watch the anime thats why, but its LMAO moment when people expect this to follow the game rule LOL imagine if the anime acting like, a turn-based battle although in this situation the Trainers could have told Slyveon to dogde that instead standing there like a statue.

This is awesome. I think it would've been better if both girls showed more enthusiasm haha like instead of "Sylveon use dazing gleam" she could've said "COME ON SYLVEON! QUICK! DAZING GLEAM!!" hahaha like add intensity :P

Tbh when their acting I think they should show more expression for example '' Sylveon... use... dazzling... gleam...'' Maybe say it like this '' Sylveon use dazzling gleam, " " To rap it up use moonblast!" Honestly I think this was great but they need to work on acting...
I think they should use more emotion, like they are living it themselves or improvising instead of reading it from a script. cause thats how it sonds to me. (Sorry for mistakes, this isn't my first languege)

fuxk you i'm the real peridot It’s really not, it was triggering more then anything, first of all yes that Sylveon did know 5 moves, second there is no way a Sylveon would win against a Chanduleure in a battle because of the typing (especially with the move set this Sylveon had, it either had a move that had no effect or wasn’t very effective), and finally that Sylveon got Will-o-wisped and showed no sign of being burnt. Ugh Anime logic....

Um Swift and Quick Attack are NORMAL type attacks! Ghost Pokemon are immune to normal type attacks. So is your Sylveon a HA Pixilate Sylveon ?

And I dont get it why she uses normal type attacks even if the ability of hers is cute charm and chandelure's ability is not scrappy (I think thats right). Wow this is awesome!! Despite the bad acting, the actresses were still good for the roles, they looked jut like the characters! And the Pokemon looked pretty awesome. Please make more!!
I think that the over all editing, color correcting, directing, and animation was phenomenally executed. The location you guys chose was absolutely gorgeous, as well. The only thing is that the acting seems a little fake. Though, I think that acting is a very subjective topic, and that their acting doesn't take away the fact that the video itself is simply beautiful.
I hope this becomes a series because it was AMAZING!

It could be that the Fairy Girl was battling with a Sylveon that had the hidden ability Pixilate. Pixilate makes Normal-type attacks, including Quick Attack, into a powered-up Fairy-type attack, allowing Sylveon to hit a Ghost-type Pokemon with said move. Otherwise, I would feel the same way as you did.
TonyAM oh true, i didn't think that because pixiliate usually works with hyper voice, however quick attack from a sylveon is useless
Ronan Lynch While it is uncommon, or at least seemingly never used, a part of me feels like Pixilate-boosted Quick Attack could come in handy. Otherwise, I would only recommend running Sylveon as a cleric with Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice.
The girls need a LOT more acting practice, it sort of made me cringe.
On the other hand, the pokemon look very nice. Sylveon's muzzle should be a little bit longer (just a little!), it looks kind of squished. They're also so smooth and flat-colored that they don't fit with the scenery very well. I'd suggest some (MODERATELY APPLIED) textures to make them blend a bit better, give them a more realistic feel. Sylveon's movement is very stiff and doesn't really flow at all. Chandelure's effects are very nice, though, I like the flames and smoke that come from it.

Okay first of all, ghost is super effective against fairy. Second, Sylveon used five moves in total, the most a pokemon should be able to use is 4 moves. Pokemon logic thrown out the window.

All of the Pokemon are so realistic, that is so awsome
I really liked that attire as well as the look of Chandelure, Pumpkaboo, and Gastly, even though I could only see it from behind. While Shedinja and more so Sylveon could've looked better, I will applaud the person/people behind the making of these Pokemon. They did a great job. As for how I felt about the looks of Shedinja and Sylveon, I guess it's not necessarily easy to properly depict fictional, animated characters in a live-action setting. I do appreciate the effort and work put into this video.
