I wrote this jingle almost 40 years ago and can't believe the responses to this day. Thank you Sam Richardson, Tim Robinson, Larry Santos, Marj Haber... Dittrich Furs Forever!
You are my hero! I had no idea Devereaux Wigs was based off an actual jingle and I find myself singing their spoof weekly.

The way he said "Detroit's beautiful" was so loveable. It's the way you talk about the place where you grew up and love regardless of what others say and think.

The Dittrich Furs commercials were (& still are) extremely iconic in the Detroit area. I've asked a lot of people that I knew that grew up in the 1980's around here, & they all know this commercial.
If you asked a kid who grew up in the 2000s about it they'd still know what it is. Dittrich is ICONIC
Cameron Kanachki Dittrich Furs is the best commercial ever. I grew up loving it. Father & Son is the second best.

Yes that commercial here in Detroit is so iconic that they still run that ad as is today during Christmas. They haven't updated it yet cause people would have a fit if they did.

I can’t believe this commercial actually aired on Conan 😂 I wish he would have played the a Mel Farr Superstar one as well.

Detroit is a very interesting city cultural that is we have huge love but we also know we have our problems. Those commercials I watched when I was very young and never understood at a young age where the rich people were to shop there hahah. Mel Farr, Taylor ford, Empire floors all were staples shoot I can tell you empires phone number but I have to look up my best friends hahahha. But I have to admit I live in the suburbs now but I'm back in Detroit daily.
