Awesome. I love this group and they keep pushing the envelope. Glad to see some incredible progression but still staying our beloved Arcade Fire. Can't wait to see them in Austin late Sept.
F*ck! How did I miss this? Went and saw them at Hyde Park several years ago and it was a bit underwhelming, but seeing them in a small (seated) indoor venue would have been much better and it wasn't far from where I live too! Why a band this great are playing in Scunthorpe is a bit surreal really.
Yeah I saw them at Hyde Park too... I don't think they were particularly happy with the sound etc. It was certainly surreal seeing them in such a small venue. Saw them at Castlefield Bowl, Manchester a couple of weeks ago too... was the best performance I've seen from them!

The problem you tend to find with 360 stage/audience set-ups is that they essentially thin the crowd out (as the audience that would usually crowd up at one side of the stage is forced to spread out around more surface area) which has a knock-on effect of really dulling the audience. It's a shame because I think it's a good idea on paper but it doesn't really pan out well in real life. I saw Muse last year on their 360 Drones tour and while the show itself was truly amazing with all the lights and projections and live drones etc, there was very little movement from the crowd, even right up at the barrier.

Out of interest from what price did the tickets start at? Might soften the blow of missing them if the tix were expensive. Who am I kidding?!
