Yes, they did a lot of the work. They also worked on the successor engine with the 5.0 litre Jaguar V8 which they still use to this day for the F Type and the discontinued XJ X351​@@Vincent25289

That's one of my favorite cars ever!
I drove a 2007 Jaguar XJ Vanden plas the other day, and it was awesome. It is very powerful!
