Steam Traction Engines try to haul a heavy diesel engine up hill

Six Steam Traction Engines plus 1 Six wheel lorry, try and haul a heavy Alllen diesel engine uphill using winch cables at Welland Steam Rally.
Filmed on Friday 28th July 2023.
Only 11 minutes long of moving footage but in reality it took well on 2 hours.
Plus to add to it the ground was wet and muddy in places.

OK, so all the little Steam Tractors of the same Brand and Model running around together made me think of the movie "Cars". I kept waiting on someone to blow a Horn and they all tip over backwards. That was really a beautiful sight, seeing all those Engines together. Thanks for the Video. Texas approves.

How heavy do you think the load was, all-together? A very impressive display.

I've been told the engine generator is roughly 20 tons and the trailer is 25 to 30 ton.
So around the 50 ton mark all together
