When you think about it, they really did their homework on this one. For example, when everything goes to hell in a nuclear plant, you don't hear one alarm, but instead a whole bunch of them at once, like what they did here.
You know what really scares me to this day? The EAS from not only Black Mesa, but in real life as well. If I hear it once eI don’t go to sleep for god knows how many days. Just give it a listen, you’ll see what I mean.

I will say although I like BM's alarms, I wish they would have still used the original klaxon alarm. The buzzer-type alarm is OK, but it feels more like a simple fire alarm than a facility-wide evacuation alarm.

Sir this is the Black Mesa research facility if your confused about what it is you can stop by the front desk and ask a personnel questions. Thank you and have a very safe day.
When you think about it, they really did their homework on this one. For example, when everything goes to hell in a nuclear plant, you don't hear one alarm, but instead a whole bunch of them at once, like what they did here.
Except this isn't a nuclear power plant, but a anomalous research facility.
@@EscapesAndRemoves which probably would have alarms for every single little thing as well, if not more.
@@EscapesAndRemoves A research facility that actively handles radioactive materials and has a nuclear reactor on site.
Except there's only one actual alarm. The other sound is the still running but broken anti-mass spectrometer whirring away.

lol now what a kid playing gta 5?
Thanks, Scienticsts. For putting earrapefull alarm
Well it does make you want to solve the situation quicker.
And evacuate quicker to dont forget that
This happened because of G-man. He brought the crystal to Black Mesa. And he forced the scientists to conduct the experiment.
I wake up to this alarm every day of my life
I mean, that's the point of an alarm. It's supposed to be as annoying as possible so you either get far away from it or fix the problem.
when charging your hev sult
whole facilities:
i feel like you can mix most alarms into a song tbh.. like use it as a beat
yeah they sound kinda rhythmically repetitive which kinda sounds like a sample for a beat if you get what i mean
*Some studies says corona virus is airborne*
*Me inside the subway when someone coughs*
There's something comforting about this.
Nice alarm.
This should be my wake up alarm :=)
Alert the world is ending
“I’m shutting this down before you idiots end the world. “Resonance Cascade”! Use some common sense.”

*"Attention! Sector C science personnel, evacuate area immediately."*
This doesn't quite alarm me.
It sounds more like some big machine in a steel mill.
FenNick Agreed, it's more like background noise on a ship
It's really a bunch of alarms mashed together, which makes sense due to everything going to hell.
@@koona1992 It's a Klaxon, Fire alarm, and a Siren mixed.

You need to spend your funding wisely, that’s why it’s the number one research facility in the country they spend there funding on important Work
