    Thanks so much. I followed your video step by step it was easy, its was literally my first time doing brakes. Everybody always says it was easy but never did it. It was on my girls car and it got me some great browny point with her... !!!
    Thanks again

    Thanks! Well done video. Should I consider cleansing out the tunnels that the slider pins go into? Also, my Camry has 150k miles, should I replace the flexible brake lines connected to the caliper? Thanks again.

    great video! a question - what's the impact tool that you use at 3:22? looks like an air powered impact driver?

    • @Ditmanppi
      @Ditmanppi 2 роки тому

      No that impact tool is powered by small Chinese children

    Should the brake reservoir lid be opened when compressing the caliper?

    • @NutzAboutBolts
      @NutzAboutBolts  Рік тому

      You can do both, never had issues with it open or closed.

    Will these instructions work for a 2004 Camry?

    I mean do you know the torque required for the 17mm?

    Question - Found that when I put the caliper back on and secured the bolts to the slide pins, I could not get a firm "tightening" my assumption is that you put a box wrench on the slide bolt head, then tighten the bolts??? Looked like you were able to torque yours just fine. Thanks for making the video!

    • @NutzAboutBolts
      @NutzAboutBolts  7 років тому

      yes, you might need a 17mm bike wrench to hold the nut down to torque the 14mm bolt down.

    • @NutzAboutBolts
      @NutzAboutBolts  7 років тому

      its a 17 or a 14mm bike wrench, I think it might be a 14mm.

    Do I need to buy separate anti seize and grease or can I use anti seize on the caliper bolts or brake grease on the contact points on the pads and clips?

    • @NutzAboutBolts
      @NutzAboutBolts  8 років тому

      silicone greast on caliper sliding pins, and brake anti seize for the shims and brake hardwares.

    What type of 14 mm and 17 mm you use a 3/8 drive or 1/2 and are they the deep socket 6 pt or 12 pt? Great video!

  • @yournamehere9553
    @yournamehere9553 7 років тому

    8mm socket (front) and wrench (rear) to bleed the brakes.
