- On 8th of April 2017 Makis Baklatzis (violin, voice) Stamatis Pasopoulos (accordion, lute) and Stathis Paraskevopoulos (percussion) played at Matrix Rotterdam.
The concert was called "The art of Greek violin".

that is very poorly played Bulgarian music. Thrace is and always was Bulgaria.
Dear...It is not Bulgarian because what you call Bulgarian is just Thracian...a land much bigger and ancient than Bulgaria. Bulgaria is just a part of Thrace populated by Bulgars (Turkic nomadic tribes) and Slavs and that music was played there long time before they arrived...So its a common heritage for people who lived around especially included Greeks
@@SnowyOwl81 Wonderfully clarified. Thanks. It's important to note that cultures, peoples, and traditions in the Balkans have influenced one another through generations. You can find similar sounds in Turkish, North Macedonian, Serb and Romanian music as well. To me this is very well played and the singing is definitely Greek.

They play very well btw, especially the song for Baj Postol the defender of the Bulgarians by Greeks andrats.
